Personally, I am not really a fan of the art-style myself - that's mainly because I don't like cute things very much.

One thing that does kinda bother me though is that the animation and the artwork of the game take from A Link Between Worlds artstyle, but this game has its own unique art-style.

Like, why the discrepancy?

Because every Zelda game has different "art style". Not two games, aside from the DS and GBC, have the same one.

Triforce Heroes isn't worthy of the title "Zelda Game"

No, I meant, why not animate and have the artwork be a new style - not the old style if it's not the style in the game?

I was going to say that it was because it was a hint to the fact that Link entering the dream meant Link also modifying it, but then I remember that ALTTP Link never had it.

And it's not as strange as the HYLIAN Shield being in LORULE in ALBW, honestly.

Master Sword in it as well?
The remake?

I think that's just the standard sword from the old Link's Awakening artwork.

Do you guys think we will an animated ending as well?

I don't want to get my hopes up, but it would be cool if they did. But I don't think they will. The gameplay art style clashes way too much with the cutscenes, so I doubt there will be many of them.

I think the difference in art styles is supposed to represent how Link, who is still a kid, perceives the world in a very cartoonish figure.

I think we might see the art style used in a cutscene when Link wakes up after awakening the Windfish, but that would probably be it.

ALTTP Link is in his late teens, bro. As seen in the artwork, dudes definitely older. Also probably the one who'd least see the world as cartoony, given he's been through three of these adventures by this point and hasn't husband Uncle die in his arms.

The art style from the Oracle games, which this game uses for its animation, depicts Link as much younger than his late teens.

Love Wind Waker's art style.

But yeah, it's weird ALLTP Link as seen in the manual seems to be around the same age as OoT older Link and TP Link, even in the intro cutscene of Link's Awakening he certainly seems older than a kid Link.

@Cal: Looks a bit weird to distance so much of the anime art style, but doesn't look bad IMO. Has that old comic book style to it.

That reminds me, why can't we scale Link to Kirby due to Links Awakening?

I just wanna see my boy Mamu/Wart in glorious HD.

Wind Waker or HD?
HD.

I don't have Gamecube anymore since my Wii broke, and I also lack a connecting cord to use the Tingle Tuner with my dying GBA SP, so I wouldn't have been able to get all the Tingle Statues.

And I would never attempt to complete the Nintendo Gallery in the original - that's just too tedious, and there a high probability of ******* it all up. Mad respect for those that did though.

I love how the first pic has Link having the time of his life with best Zelda girl while Ganon is in chains lol

Well to be fair the moment i heard of a wind waker hd coming to wii u i think most self respecting Zelda fans had to get one and im glad i did i introduced my younger siblings to the Zelda franchise with wind waker

Small kids going on an adventure realizing the world is much more bigger than your little sand box ever since then they loved the game and still tho.

Kind of like link now they can relate to someone that is incredible.

@Warren if Bayonetta 2, DK Tropical Freeze, and Hyrule Warriors got ported to the Switch, as well as the Switch basically having Sm4sh: Definitive Edition, they're definitely gonna port the rest of the Wii U games into the switch.

Yeah that was a massive letdown. Just an up res game with an Amiibo DLC. Why not try to fix the mistakes that the original TP had like WW HD did with most of its problems people had with the OG?

I remember being super disappointed with the Twilight Princess remake, as I wanted a ground-up remake that made the game look like that Zelda Wii U tech Demon.
We all were

Also super sad that Reggie is gone now the person taking care of the ni tendo of america branch is called Bowser...yeah i already dont trust him

My only big problem was the lack of an item add that can change the time of day, like almost every other 3-D Zelda game.
