The Five Nights At Freddy's (Movie) Discussion Thread!

A preview for the novelization was released which can be read fully here.
I read all the pages and these are the excerpts that were probably the most important to me.

The guard (named Bob) in the opening is 5'6.

Mike is 5'11

The torture device spring-lock thing is described as steel (It doesn't mean anything now but it could act as supporting evidence if steel is proven consistent as the metal for the animatronics and spring locks)

Mike is described as somewhat athletic.

Mike breaks the skin on his hand (Just a stamina feat really)
Other than that we should probably wait for the full novel to be released I guess.

"Even though Bob knew he had no bulk, he wasn't a small guy. At five foot eleven..."

The 5'11'' guy is Bob, not Mike

Also, I'm a jackass and didn't put two and two together that dismemberment could mean ripping apart, so the FNaF1 animatronics in the games at least would get likely Class 5.
So THATS why you never used that feat. was always wondering why they weren't higher with LS.

This is actually a really good point. How do we know that the animatronics are dismembering people through ripping them apart? For all we know they're biting the persons limbs off, not ripping them off
It's weird to imagine that ripping a limb off is harder than biting someone in half but yeah.

Just want to point out that since a gunshot didn’t set off William’s Springlocks but the Cupcake did, that means the Cupcake is stronger than a bullet

Hi, guys.I just finished the movie with my cousins. They thought it was mid lol.

Someone should probably calc Freddy biting someone is half

How strong will Mike be tho?

I can do several push-ups every day and I am probably not Athelete level lol
I mean the minimum push ups a normal person could do is 10 and below. It also needs to be done in proper form. Considering Mike does it every day (in multiple reps), he strength should be that a low tier athlete

I think it’s more a matter if they are consistent with said reps rather than if they can that would imply he is in shape. Although I’m a little skeptical about athlete level Mike even if baseline.

I mean if someone does that everyday in their morning, they would obviously be building strength overtime.

I think Human level possibly Athlete works

Honestly likely Athletic isn’t too off the table. If he’s described as being fit enough to be a basketball player then we see him in the movie doing things to stay in shape.
