Tekken Hypersonic speed upgrades

I know there's a lot of much bigger Tekken upgrades that we're sitting on while we wait for Tekken 7, but for now I think this is pretty reasonable. Jin is the final boss in Tekken 6's scenario campaign. (Which is 100% canon) and he can punch and kick fast enough to where his fists and feet ignite and catch on fire. The minimum for an object to catch fire from going so fast is Mach 5.

Jin hasn't shown any abilities to conjure up or manipulate fire out of nowhere. Speed seems to be the only explanation.

Those don't look like speed feats.Even if the fire was caused by speed (which doesn't seem to be the case) and not by fire manipulation as Prom noted it would still be uncalcable (if there is such a word) since we don't use KE to find speed.

...Really...? So because he has flame designed pants, this is not a speed feat? Even though he has not shown any fire manipulation capabilities ever in all the time he's been in Tekken?

No, that's not the only reason, but it contributes to it, along with what Kka said. It's less of an assumption to assume it's fire manipulation than a speed feat.

If they don't know the verse, then why would they respond to the thread?

If clothing is the case, then where's Kazuya's fire? Why is Heihachi's wife able to summon a tiger when Heihachi is the one with the tiger gi? Why aren't dragons coming out of Law's pants?

Well, regardless of my knowledge of the verse, this is something pretty basic that you don't need to have a lot of knowledge on the verse to address.

The pants were really not my main reasoning; there's no implication of it being through speed alone, it'd be reasonable for Jin to have fire manipulation given what he is and what he has shown before, and Kka said we don't use KE to determine speed anyways so it's irrelevant.

What do you mean "What he is, and what he has shown before"? He's never shown any fire manipulation before, neither has Kazuya who also has the Devil Gene like Jin. Jinpachi has shown fire manipulation, but he was possessed by a vengeful spirit, not the devil gene.

I apologize deeply, I really do, because I can tell my tone may be coming off as a bit hostile. It's just that there's always some kind of excuse whenever a Tekken upgrade is in question. "Oh it can't be calced, oh that was slightly non canon even though it was in a completely canon game and has some continuity in later games, oh it was just hyperbole" every. single. time. At first I thought you all just hated me or something, but it happens with others too. Tekken just always seems to be shut down immediately. I mean if nobody knows the verse, then why dismiss info from someone who knows it like the back of their hand? Again I know I sound hostile, and I don't mean to. But it does become quite frustrating after the hundredth time, especially when it's even over a small change like this.

Probably because they're non-canon or they can't be calced or it's hyperbole. Find better feats. Small changes or not, if the basis is unreliable it can't be used. Also, I know the verse.

some arent non-canon,some can be calced,even if they sound hyperbole multiple statements was said to prove the hyperbole

cell saying he can destroy a solar system is taken as possibility despite the person who tried on this wiki to prove it real used character statements and non canon sources for that,why tekken doesnt get a possibility for their capabilities on such cases?

The only thing i saw for now is Kazuya destroying large buildings with his laser, something i expected him to do since Tekken 2.

Nina took a hit from Heihachi,battled Alisa and probably beat her(since she done her rage art),Heihachi before the events of the first tekken dodged a laser from Devil Kazumi,Akuma can be seen dodging Kazuya laser that destroyed the building,kid Kazuya taking hits from Heihachi who was also younger(and maybe stronger then his old self),i pause the video and made it move slower from the option bar some of them,you can check and see too
