Scout should gain Immortality Type 8 since he has a deep bond with God and as long as Scout doesn't have sex with every woman on earth the God will send him back

Scout should gain 5-B Enviromental Destruction upon Death

Medic should gain Immortality Type 4 up to 8 times. He has the souls of every merc which gives him the total of 9 and he has shown to use one of them to come back to life and escape Hell

All the Mercs expect Medic should gain Immortality Type 5

The Merceneries don't have souls which means they therotically cannot actually access heaven or hell as proven by Medic going to hell since he has a soul. Medic also states that the only reason they survived the fight is because the mercs don't have souls

Scout only went to heaven either because he died before Medic did this soul thing, God just did not give a **** and got him in heaven

Sniper was hallucinating proven by medic. So no he didnt go to heaven

Disagree with Type 8 for Scout. God says that he’s sending Scout back, and the women all have one last chance to all have sex with him. So it’s a one time thing

Medic can only resurrect himself if he has a majority stake in his soul, so he wouldn’t be able to revive 8 times.

Disagree with Type 5 for the Mercs, since they very clearly are capable of dying. The fact that the Devil isn’t surprised to see Medic in Hell, despite the fact that at that point, Medic had already given away his soul shows that they don’t need a soul to go to heaven or hell. And no, Scout at that point didn’t have his soul. There is literally no point in the main comics where Medic is even able to see Scout, except at the end of Comic 6, so his soul was removed well before he died.

What about the 5-B?

We already changed it to 4 above

Him not being surprised is not really an Antifeat. Maybe the Devil already expected Medic to find a way? We dont know. Its too vague to use as an anti feat

Which means we dont know why he went to heaven, this might support the idea that he was just hallucinating or God just doesnt care about the soul thing. This doesnt change the fact that Medic literally states them not having souls is the reason they won against the TFC mercs, if we only give them soul resistance then this simply breaks the narrative behind it.

Mercs need to gain an ability because of not having a soul that will help them win against TFC guys otherwise it simply doesnt make sense context wise.

it is completely up to god deciding if he is even going to do it or changing his mind, it is really mostly a treat rather than an automatic power

that doesn't help the argument, and yes it can be used as an anti-feat because the logic is very simple, medic doesn't have a soul, goes to hell, the devil who is experienced with people dying and giving away souls is not surprised.

the narrative doesn't matter if we aren't given any mechanics or implications on what those abilities are, we are not gonna give them any abilities they have no evidence of having based on a vague throwaway line, much less an ability with evidence against it, soul resistance is literally the only thing we can give them by default.

Because it comes from The Devil. As long as he still owns at least 5 of the 9 souls, he can get him to send him back to Earth.
Ooh right. So he can only do it like 4 times?
No. At no point does it say he needs to use up a soul to resurrect. That's my point.

They won against the TFC mercs because they are immune to soul manipulation which TFC mercs dont even have? How does that make sense narratively.

Mercs can survive even after Medic literally just pours blood into them

That's not the argument. We can only grant them Soul Immunity because Medic's statement is way too vague. It can mean anything from the TF2 Mercs being massively amped after having their souls removed, to not being able to permanently die, or literally anything else.

Basically, they are granted two things via having their soul removed: Soul Immunity, and some other unknown thing that allowed them to win. We don't know what that unknown thing is since Medic never finished his sentence, so we can only give them Soul Immunity.

Mercs can survive even after Medic literally just pours blood into them
So can Miss Pauling and Zhanna, and they still have their souls. Even then, someone with Type 5 Immortality wouldn't even need to have their blood poured back into them, since the concept of death literally doesn't apply to them.

Okay what about Immortality 2

I thought they already had it, they can also survive arrows impaling them on their chests and heads if they are above 150 hp

I’d call the latter a game mechanic, since the Mercs consistently die to headshots in the Meet the Team videos
That’s fair, though they also die to explosives instantly a lot of the time too so i figured it wasn’t consistent enough to point out
