Move is easy to dodge honestly. Not one of his best.I'm sure a lot of Mii mains dressed as Aerith have been down aired by Sephiroth mains numerous times by now, it's FF 7 tradition for her to die like that

It's also a good way to quickly get back on the stage when knocked around.@Ovrhide I was more so making a joke regarding how Aerith dies in Final Fantasy 7 but that's fair, though I have found it useful for spiking people trying to get back on stage
I don't you can't, Steve would be against the crossover rulesWhen are we gonna get the SSBU version of Steve on here?
I dont want Fortnite in Smash tbhI'd say a fortnite rep is pretty likely too.
SameThis
I don't want roblox simply for the fact that its pretty much a game creator, not an actual main game. It would be like including the Game Maker studio logo in smash
As much as I want Touhou for Smash, I doubt it would get in due to its obscurity to western people. But then again, they did allow Lucas. My big three predictions right now are Crash, Reimu, or the Grass starter from Sword/Shield
It's just that Sakurai worded his tweet about the news in a very specific way unlike how he has before. And he has hinted in the past before. Basically translates to:As much as I want Touhou for Smash, I doubt it would get in due to its obscurity to western people. But then again, they did allow Lucas.
This is less of a reach, and I’m on board with it.I'm hoping for Ryu Hayabusa
I don't get the "Touhou is obscure" argument. It has almost as big a presence in Japan as Dragon Quest, a gaming juggernaut, with arguably a bigger western fanbase than DQ too. Plus one of the mainline games is coming to Switch this Spring.Yeah you are reaching with touhou, Too obscure.
Almost as big as dragon quest isn’t a good argument. working with Nintendo Also isn’t a good argument. There are just far bigger known series out there for touhou to realistically be one of the first choices. It is indeed too obscure, and it is indeed very unlikely to happen.I don't get the "Touhou is obscure" argument. Not to mention Sakurai loves bullet hells and shmups just like SNK fighting games, is friends with ZUN from what I know, and ZUN has worked with Nintendo in the past.
You do know that DQ is one of the largest series of all time in the East, right? Even has it's own officially recognized day and everything. Can't get much bigger than that.Almost as big as dragon quest isn’t a good argument. working with Nintendo Also isn’t a good argument. I think you are severely underestimating how many more video game franchises are more popular than touhou. The fact is that it is not one of the first options they will think off.You do know that DQ is one of the largest series of all time in the East, right? I feel like you're severely downplaying how large the Touhou franchise is as a whole just because it isn't nearly as big in the West. They even recently collaborated with one of the largest licensors in the world, to give an example of how big it is now.
Plus Terry was an obscure as hell pick too, for anybody who isn't in the FGC. You even claimed that Ninja Gaiden had a better chance despite DoA pretty much stealing the spotlight from it for like a decade now.
