They seemed to show off Cloud doing a new version of the Omnislash in the trailer. Also I better see the solar system getting nuked as part of Sephiroths final smash.

When the Main Antagonist gets split in half, dying before they even get their special move off, in a scenario that didn’t happen during the opening Cutscene yet is made to look like it takes place in that timeframe, we know the Reveal isn’t canon.

Galeem got split in half . During the True Ending, Galeem and Dharkon die as they fall into the ocean, having sustained too much damage and releasing all the Spirits. Their limbs literally fall apart, with their wing things coming off like a Wet Doll’s arm and the light fading from their body. When the Main Antagonist dies in a Reveal which isn’t the way it actually ended, the reveals clearly aren’t canon to the story.

Galeem doesn’t have Resurrection, you’d need to prove this reveal is Canon and did happen before it’s accepted that this is canon to the Smash Bros. Universe.
