That was a "filler" fight. Basically it was just made to stall for the "real" fights that are more heavily requested. They do this quite often, a recent example is Raven VS. Twilight Sparkle.

Sometimes you get the insane like Saber vs Alucard lasting for more than 2-3 pages on Spacebattles with issues like "Alucard can survive Excalibur because soul count" to debates on rather Alucard's telekinesis culd give Saber pause long enough for him to even put a dent in her armor. With the only reasonable argument I saw being if Alucard kills Kirei and let the mana drain before Saber reduces him to zilch but other than that, it was bad enough someone had to point out a list of characters Alucard was pit up against such as:
