Considering the best he fought in the webcomic was monster Garou, who manga saitama slapped around casually.

He means narratively. The Webcomic sticks to it's name. One Punch Man. The manga doesn't.
We still don't know how strong Webcomic Saitama is where as we do know that Manga Saitama can't even one shot empowered Garou even when bloodlusted.
In short the Manga ain't One Punch Man it's Exponential Growth Man (with a side of Fubuki being on nearly every cover page, I ain't complaining)

A yes one punching someone who have perfect copy of your current strength.
NGL, copying powers is one of the worst idea ONE can come up with when fighting Saitama, because there are literally two outcomes: either the opponent copies Saitama’s strength perfectly, or he doesn’t.
Not to mention, all of Webcomic Saitama’s opponents are bricks who can’t even use a simple tactical advantage like poison or acid.

It would've been so hype to see Darkshine face EOW with confidence, since he was able to tank his attacks earlier, only to get one shot by an extremely compressed water jet.
Can you imagine if EOW attempted to kill Saitama by taking all of Earth's ocean water and compressing it into a single water jet only a few inches in width. The pressure would be so insane it could probably pierce through the planet itself, of course not Saitama though.

Most likely that or he gets turned into crushed pulp. But who knows maybe he is durable enough to take it. Fact is that we have yet to see the upper limit of his durability. Garou only made his nose bleed and that was from internal bleeding due to Garou being able to target past the skin and muscles. And the other time he took damage was to acid.

Garou was only able to ignore durability and target internal organs with Fa Jin, which he didn't use until his fight with Saitama IIRC.
And didn't Golden Sperm knock him out?

OPM fights are grounded in science a bit more than other anime so maybe it would be acknowledged

It is in the Darkshine fight where he uses Fajin for the first time. The shockwaves behind are the same just on a way smaller scale. Plus Garou even at that point had pressure points. His profile even has Durability negation for Spiral Garou.
As for Golden S. This is about the same thing that happened between Ugly and Amai Mask. Darkshine was already mentally broken after the acid melted his skin but then Golden S essentially making himself the better Body builder crushed his spirit completely. Darkshine's power is so effected by his mental state that a demotivated Darkshine makes Raiden look far superior while a motivated Darkshine can No diff the same Raiden amped by a battle suit. The difference between his mental state is of several one shot tiers.

One more thing about Darkshine. Since the manga is following the webcomic almost 1:1 now and if it stays that way then Darkshine is immensely busted. Dr Bofoi with 1/3rd of Darkshine's strength is confident that he could kill Final Upgrade Genos. Regardless of if can or not, he was watching him this entire time and saw him punch a hole through Super Brave Giant made to fight the entire monster association and kill several dragon level opponents with ease.

He isn't confident he is gonna kill him, he just says he won't be so easy to beat and Genos mockingly asks him if he really thinks he can fight him at that level. The punch he landed on Genos didn't even scratch him either lol.

And again he doesn't need to beat Genos for this scaling chain to work. He is confident despite witnessing his feats.
Which is btw the only Reason Goketsu even has a profile here because of Genos stating it would take Saitama and all of S class to beat him. Would it ? Absolutely not. But this just means that he is higher than any feat Genos has witnessed from Saitama and the S class.

If the manga stays on the Webcomic path then absolutely yes.
Bofoi has to be privy of the Feats of 10 seconds Genos. The final form is narratively his strongest form and Bofoi a Genius scientist is confident than 1/3rd of Darkshine's full power can beat said Genos.

He is saying this to Isamu who was shocked by the sudden transformation, not Genos, look at the dialogue order and remember Bofoi and Isamu were just recently fighting and Bofoi clearly didn't want to kill him, which is why he tried to use an anesthetic to take him out.

Sure. Still knocked back Genos and blitzed his perception. Which is still a very good feat.
And again regardless of if he can beat him or not, he is confident enough to press Genos and confront him.
And like I have said multiple times. Factual Statement - The limit of Darkshine's durability has never been show no matter how much your cry and moan about it.
And the fact that One specifically uses Darkshine as a scale here along with his actions in earlier chapters shows that he is narratively being put ahead as a very strong character

Saying Flashy Flash is more durable than the hero known for highest defence is stupid beyond belief. Yes he has better feats but Darkshine again lost confidence and opted out of the fight.

Also Bofoi keeps an eye on everything that's going on. He was literally watching Genos rip Super Brave Giant. He is very much aware of Genos's power. Atleast he knows Genos can kill multiple Dragon Levels with ease and destroy a Robot made to combat monster association level threats which includes 10 seconds mode Genos. Final Genos is the strongest Genos.
