I think he just has the ability to absorb things via eating in general. Kinda like the energy from Garou which was also eaten.

Why would it be ? Blast space craving doesn’t seem ret con he just hasn’t had a place to use it yet because he’s not trying to kill void we know both void and blast have space warping abilities and can manipulate the cosmos it makes sense he still has it
