That would be correct unless I am mistaken so I shall reference the parts that lead to these conclusions.
From weeping angels: Quantum Locking: When observed by a living creature (at least self-aware) the Angel would turn into a harmless stone like creature.
From glamrock Endo: Average (Despite lacking the self-awareness Glamrock animatronics possess, the endoskeletons are programmed to tend to injured, as well as how to entertain patrons around the pizzaplex)
This is why when you do a gimmick match you check if the gimmick works
