Star Wars Vs Thread Issue

I'm a big fan of Star Wars, but there is something that keeps popping up in Star Wars Battles that bothers me. Why do people always say a Jedi/Sith Character wins via Mind Manipulation, when they can only do so on weak minded people. I know it comes from the fact EU Sidious controlled all of Corusant. But still, he controlled 10 trillion WEAK MINDED, NORMAL PEOPLE WHO HAD ABSOLUTELY NO KIND OF MIND RESISTANCE. I also don't see how it scales to every single Jedi, considering it was done by Sidious, the most powerful Sith Lord of all time. If it was performed by him, it should only scale to the likes of Luke, Vitiate, and the Ghosts of Mortis like The Son and Abeloth.

This isn't really a revision or anything, and you're welcome to prove me wrong, but it just really bothers me that Mind hax is everyone's go to thing for Star Wars threads, mainly because people claim they can control opponents with High Mind Resistance when beings like Cad Bane and ******* WATTO can easily resist it.

Well, I remember someone saying on a thread against Ryuko Matoi, I think it was Qui-Gon Jinn or Darth Vader, saying her mind resistance would be useless because they apparently scale to Sidious's feat of controlling 10 trillion people on Corusant.
