[SPOILER] Pokémon SW/SH thread 2 [SPOILER]

Overall, the Galar legends are at least 6-B, likely far higher based on what I know.
it's unexpectedly very low o_o. I thought Galar legends would be first legends with High 3-A tier

Not all of the Gigantamax dex entries are on Bulbapedia or Serebii when I last checked a night ago and I have zero intention of buying or playing SwSh, at least not at full price, so I don't know much about the actual things the legendaries are said to do or have done in the game.

The Legendaries are 6-B at minimum, but may scale to much higher. I'm just not sure if Eternatus being said to have 'infinite energy' is wise to scale from, considering many dex entries in the games are dismissed as huge outliers and Eternatus is otherwise only noted for being the source of all Dynamax and having absorbed Galar's energies, which is FAR from infinite.

This dex entry for Zacian claims it can one-shot Gigantamax Pokemon, which implies Zacian, Zamazenta and especially Eternatus could all one-shot Low 6-Bs.

Now armed with a weapon it used in ancient times, this Pokémon needs only a single strike to fell even Gigantamax Pokémon.

I believe all of the legendaries have a signature move each that deals more damage against Dynamax pokemon however, so this claim may only apply to them against Gigantamax rather than them being capable of one-shotting Low 6-Bs. Even so, we could potentially scale from those signature moves to see how much more damage they do to Dynamax pokemon and then just work from there.

"One-shot Low 6-Bs"? Where's this from?

The signature move of the new three is effective against dynamax pokemon, it describe on their move's information, but it can be more reliable when the three debut in anime and give more evidences

No, I meant where did the rating come from
Zacian one-shotting G-Maxes, G-Corviknight's wingflaps being > Lugia's wingflaps, and Lugia's wingflaps being = 6-B

Add all that together, and the result is Zacian one-shotting 6-B.

You yourself posted the thread where people are discussing Gigantamax scaling, and I posted some links regarding Gigantamax pokemon potentially scaling to Low 6-B (corrected to 6-B), so I'm just going based on that until proper calculations and arguments have been made for their tiering.

I'm pretty sure pokemon have received tierings based on moves that multiply power, so if we consider how much stronger the signature moves of the legendaries are against Dynamax, and then scale backwards from that we can ascertain their AP based on Gigantamax scaling.

I missed the part on that thread about comparing it to Lugia ^^; Never said I was the brightest bulb.

I saw the High 7-C and went with that. Whoops

Yeah, as I say there the Gigantamax dex for Corviknight claims its wing flaps surpass any hurricane, and Lugia's own wing flaps are 6-B. So if we accept that scaling we can claim:

Eternamax Eternatus > Zacian + Zamazenta (used Anti-Dynamax moves VS Eternatus, so they have advantages over it specifically) >> Zacian and Zamazenta >> Gigantamax (Zacian one-shots Gigantamax Pokemon) > Lugia > Baseline 6-B (Lugia is casually 6-B with wing flaps)

So anything else that needs to be considered? I'd like to give making profiles for the doggos a try, if someone can point me to how and where to make a blog.

inb4 Zacian and Zamazenta fight off Necrozma in the future.
inb4 Eternatus actually gets a High 3-A feat.

Also, fun fact, I used Necrozma as a base for that blog. So a bit of a coincidence you should mention it of all things.

i think gen 7 may get the gen 4 treatment, in that it will take time for new pokemon to surpass that. not really the same thing, because gen 4 is about the actual gods who established reality, but you get my point.

but diving into speculation, i somehow can see a revelation of eternatus being somehow related to necrozma. E-Eternatus in parts look like is made of fragments of necrozma (oversized fragments tho). could be that they are opposites of each other, one is pure light, while the other brings forth the darkest day.

That somehow reminded me of the 2017 theory that Necrozma's black body is only coocoon for his true form... which was kind of true.

I could honestly see this one being true too.

The dogs and Eternatus are probably immortal, taking this into account:

"This Pokémon slept for aeons while in the form of a statue. It was asleep for so long, people forgot that it ever existed."

That's a weird jump, then.

Well, EE could have gravity manipulation, considering how objects and scrap metal around it starts to float as soon as it appears.

NeoZex6399 said:
Exactly, in the manga, Dialga and Palkia cause gravity to disappear around them as a cause of their fight.
That, and they got Hakai punches.

This thing is pretty interesting:

"A constant collector of information, this Pokémon is very smart. Very strong is what it isn't."

"Often found in gardens, this Pokémon has hairs on its body that it uses to assess its surroundings."

"It barely moves, but it's still alive. Hiding in its shell without food or water seems to have awakened its psychic powers."

"As it grows inside its shell, it uses its psychic abilities to monitor the outside world and prepare for evolution."

"It's famous for its high level of intelligence, and the large size of its brain is proof that it also possesses immense psychic power."

"It emits psychic energy to observe and study what's around it—and what's around it can include things over six miles away."

"Its brain has grown to a gargantuan size, as has the rest of its body. This Pokémon's intellect and psychic abilities are overpowering."

"If it were to utilize every last bit of its power, it could control the minds of every living being in its vicinity."

Pkmn ayy lmao

094-gi

"On the night of a full moon, if shadows move on their own and laugh, it must be Gengar's doing."

"It is said to emerge from darkness to steal the lives of those who become lost in mountains."

"Rumor has it that its gigantic mouth leads not into its body, filled with cursed energy, but instead directly to the afterlife."

"It lays traps, hoping to steal the lives of those it catches. If you stand in front of its mouth, you'll hear your loved ones' voices calling out to you."

I doubt there will be a dpp remake, more likely ultra sword and ultra shield or pokemon spear for an extra $60 since all gamefreak cares about is $ (and Charizard)

I'd prefer a straight dpp port to a remake

if gamefreak knows whats good for them then there will be.

there would be riots in the streets if they said they aren't making the DPP remakes.
