It was decent, but again, the episode was just a pity win so their fans can say they aren't biased. There's no way Shadow could even lose that fight.I guess I shouldn’t even have to ask about your guys’ thoughts on DB’s research and scaling for Shadow in that episode then…?
Wait, really? Even with them showcasing Shadow to be above planetary to “arguably universal” and vaguely FTL?It was decent, but again, the episode was just a pity win so their fans can say they aren't biased. There's no way Shadow could even lose that fight.
Base Shadow being planet level and Super Shadow being universal is fine and the episode didn't need more. Eggman vs Bowser will be the real deal.Wait, really? Even with them showcasing Shadow to be above planetary to “arguably universal” and vaguely FTL?
They can also apply to cards and players, I imagine verse equalization would make jewels work on other items too. After watching some Sonic Shuffle gameplay, it seems that the Forcejewels only apply to themselves
Granted, they DID accept that, but even then that was hardly what was mentioned for the most part tho…Base Shadow being planet level and Super Shadow being universal is fine and the episode didn't need more. Eggman vs Bowser will be the real deal.
It's a thing DB tends to do, they'll often not use the highest ends for the winner if their low ends are all that's needed to win. It's basically to throw the loser a bone.Granted, they DID accept that, but even then that was hardly what was mentioned for the most part tho…
Then again, I guess they wanted to do a Deku vs Asta and make it seem closer than it really is for some reason
Figured. Let’s see what’s in the upcoming DB then…It's a thing DB tends to do, they'll often not use the highest ends for the winner if their low ends are all that's needed to win. It's basically to throw the loser a bone.
Apparently soSo, traveling between timelines physically is not immeasurable speed right?
It's impossible to not have bias within oneself. If you like stuff, then by default, you have bias.People will say "powerscaling is subjective" but deny subjective bias in their reasonings and conclusions and act as if they're completely objective right afterwards, lol. Honestly if you still think Death Battle isn't biased at all then you're just extremely naive at this point.
........what really? They were?It was pretty good, but tbh the best part to me wasn't even part of the episode it was that the team really wanted Ryuko to win since a lot of them didn't like Shadow that much compared to other Sonic characters and they were trying to find any way to have her win until they realised she has no chance and they were kinda bummed out about it.
Dude, you just triggered a series of memories I had lodged in consciousness and made me remember the weeks Weekly spent in the DB Discussion Thread trying to argue that Ryuko beats Shadow for dubious and borderline nonsensical reasons.Like I said it was just something several people brought up in the DB discussion thread when one of their casts or Q&A's came out, it's like the only thing I remember from the time besides Weekly clogging up the thread with a thousands post arguing that Ryuko actually beats Shadow.
Knuckles gets sucked into a black hole. It might not be Low-Multiversal base sonic, but it is funny.
I figured this could be cool to share since Bowser VS Eggman is in discussion lately.
I thought the same thing at first, but verse equalization flies in the face of that, unless you have proof I'm not aware of.After watching some Sonic Shuffle gameplay, it seems that the Forcejewels only apply to themselves
Yes.We consider Crisis City to be a separate timeline right?
True. That's what I am saying. It can't be denied Death Battle is biased if powerscaling is subjective. It's impossible to not have bias within oneself. If you like stuff, then by default, you have bias.
I agree, but then what's your point with the sun disc? Is it subjective or is it objectively wrong to you?True. That's what I am saying. It can't be denied Death Battle is biased if powerscaling is subjective.
My point, as well, is that claiming bias does not matter, as all living beings inherently are.True. That's what I am saying. It can't be denied Death Battle is biased if powerscaling is susubjective.
It's proof Death Battle can make certain characters lose if they really want to. So, bias.I agree, but then what's your point with the sun disc? Is it subjective or is it objectively wrong to you?
Not what I was asking but whatever. It's proof Death Battle can make certain characters lose if they really want to. So, bias.
The only way you can screw up with a calc like the Sun Disk is on purpose, so they purposely made Bardock lose, yes.I don't mean this rudely but they didn't "make" Bardock lose, anymore than anything that ever decides a winner and loser. They sure did decide they feel Bardock loses, but, no alternative to decision besides indecision and drawing out of a hat, really.
Nope. You have to purposely wank it and assume everything on its highest end to get results even near Death Battle's.I'm bad at math, so I assure you I can screw up the sun disc very unintentionally.
I agree with the sentiment but I'd just like to say that we're the people who made moving a chunk of the earth a high 4C feat. So I don't think we have much ground to stand on here.Nope. You have to purposely wank it and assume everything on its highest end to get results even near Death Battle's.
Tbf at least we explain that with the planet being huge. I don't think the Sun Disk had any real explanation.I agree with the sentiment but I'd just like to say that we're the people who made moving a chunk of the earth a high 4C feat. So I don't think we have much ground to stand on here.Although we would if we went with high 5A.
Their explanation is that the Disc would have to be this huge is order to cover up the sun of a planet implied to be even more massive than Viltrum (as indicated by the aliens on it being superior to Viltrumites as a mere by-product of having adapted to its gravity. Can't say I agree since I'm bad at math too, but they did have a reasoning.Tbf at least we explain that with the planet being huge. I don't think the Sun Disk had any real explanation.
This is no different from Dragon Ball calcs that are nowhere near as controversial for some reason, except we have more of a leg to stand on. The continente moved at sub-relativistic speeds, and 0.5% of the "star piercing power" of the Eclipse Canon is explicitely only enough to destroy a city on that planet. This, on top of its multiple moons and large islands explicitely invisible from orbit.I agree with the sentiment but I'd just like to say that we're the people who made moving a chunk of the earth a high 4C feat. This still doesn't reach as high as the calc actually did.Their explanation is that the Disc would have to be this huge is order to cover up the sun of a planet implied to be even more massive than Viltrum (as indicated by the aliens on it being superior to Viltrumites as a mere by-product of having adapted to its gravity. Can't say I agree since I'm bad at math too, but they did have a reasoning.
I guess so but there's a small error there. The eclipse canon at the time wasn't powered by the emeralds since Sonic was in his super form so it wouldn't be 0.5% of the star piercing power. But the canon can still destroy the world without emeralds according to Geralds journal so your point still stands. This is no different from Dragon Ball calcs that are nowhere near as controversial for some reason, except we have more of a leg to stand on since 0.5% of the "star piercing power" of the Eclipse Canon is explicitely only enough to destroy a city on that planet. He verbatim says that it isso it wouldn't be 0.5% of the star piercing power.
Verbatim said to be how much power the cannon had to shootso it wouldn't be 0.5% of the star piercing power. But the canon can still destroy the world without emeralds according to Geralds journal so your point still stands.
Nevermind your right turns out I was reading a poorly translated version lol. On the topic of math it's funny that 1/200th the power to blow a hole through the sun is city level according to that story.Verbatim said to be how much power the cannon had to shoot
Spectacle-wise it's the best Sonic DB,by far. All the others are kinda jank in one way or another.Since Shadow has been part of this discussion lately, what do you guys think of his Death Battle episode vs Ryuko?
