I mean........does Infinite even have a place in here? he has like......no personal connection to Shadow's character development at all, honestly Infinite combines more as a Sonic boss, i always saw him as the "Mephiles to Sonic".......in a limited way anyway

my dude, now it is like, 3 Previous Final Bosses that are now just fodder Base Form VICTIMS(Perfect Chaos, Metal Overlord, Devil Doom).......i legit think that they will make Silver and Blaze fight Solaris and Eggwizard at the same time at some point, heck i think they'll make Sonic solo Time Eater in an eventual 60 Years anniversary title lol

Tbh it’s kinda confusing to me. Black Doom became much stronger between games (meaning Devil Doom would be stronger too) and he supposedly also grew stronger during the game alongside Shadow, meaning that base Shadow would arguably scale above Adventure era Devil Doom. Yet that’s contradicted by Shadow starting the game at Doom’s Eye level, who should be much weaker than Devil Doom. I guess Shadow had a greater boost from the Doom Powers than Black Doom did? Then again, Shadow destroys Doom’s Eye incredibly easily during the cutscene, so maybe it doesn’t fully scale in stats outside of speed?

Doom’s Eye doesn't fully scale to Black Doom, and simply mostly to base Shadow.

I mean Archie had no issue giving them unique forms (for better for worst), the games have zero excuses at this point in time.
Generations and lots of unused content go almost as well as Knuckles and grapes.

Noticed Eggman has a natural resistance to EE cuz of being fine while inside a realm of destabilizing space time/it being erased. But, he wasn’t ever put in a position where he suffered the consequences of it being erased, and the intersection was arguably the only thing protecting him from the erasure. So idk, kinda weird to me.

Only Eggman with the Time Eater has that resistance. It's not part of his base kit.

There was a timeline split that fixed some blatant time paradoxes and power-scaling issues, but then it got retconned so the events of Mania and Superstars can be canon to the version of Sonic and co. we follow. This is the only thing we can do to make sense of those writing decisions from a power-scaling POV

I'm not a shipper of any Sonic character, but I will say that I never saw Blaze and Silver as having a sibling thing going on with their dynamic. I feel like a sibling-like relationship more so fits with Blaze and Cream's dynamic IMO

according to Shadow Gens time can "heal itself" back to how it is supposed to be as long as key moments are restored, so Classic was simply "fixed" to how he should be and time made the events follow as they should even if he did know about the future

screw shipping in this debate, they are simply fun duo to watch, just like Sonic and Tails, i can't imagine one without the other when both are involved in a story, which is one of my gripes with the first arc of IDW

They’re separated by not only time, but also by Dimensions. It’s easy to picture especially when looking at Games like Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure where Silver is no where to be seen. That and Forces also reinforced that as well with just Silver being alone.

I’ll never forgive whoever made the creative decision to ship Sally and Nicole together and completely ignore anything relationship wise with Sonic and Sally in favor of shoving down Amy during Post-Genesis. That pisses me off more so than anything the video games have done.

Crazy how Scourge appeared after stealing Sonic's life, apparently shared a bed with every (relevant) girl in Knothole, and then left after being outed--And no one ever considered the implications. Or how Scourge is a surprisingly good guy despite being super sleazy by using Sonic's name to get with girls and gave Mina good life advice as well as rejected her advances after she threw herself at his (Sonic's) way due to her emotional turmoil.Archie Sonic’s love life was a bit too active

Which is a downside for Forces, everyone but Blaze is there, and in games like Colors DS and TSR their dynamic is clear again, as well as IDW, i am not saying they CAN'T work alone......but that they are at their BEST together, specially with their dynamic only being explored in 06 with Mainline games, that is a waste, a full game on them as a duo ala the Mario and Luigi series is a gold opportunity that i can't believe wasn't made yet

Shard the Metal Sonic was, for me, the biggest character loss we had in the post boot
Eeeehhhh, Sonamy......wasn't really a thing in Post Boot.......no romance was, by design, Ian made clear that Sega was like "no" to nearly any romance there, specially for Sonic

Sonamy wasn't a thing really, but it was still teased a bit more in Post-Boot to my memory? IDK, maybe I'm off. But Ian is more an Amy guy than Sally for Sonic, and his fanfic career proves it.

I mean.........nah, as a watcher of the Bumblekast, nowadays he just..........deeply doesn't like romance/shipping, since no matter what people will always complain and insult him for it, he wrotte Sonally pretty well and faked Sonamy just to make the Sonally reconciliation more impactful, Sonamy is jusy the ship even Sonic Team endorses, so in things in more in supervission of them, Sonamy is practically the only ship that will receive any real "hints"
