Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

Honestly, I could think of the Ring Portal just being the representation of portals in the Movieverse in general, so just like Shadow gets changed when he crosses the portal, the portal itself existing between the two universes is a representation of how things look in that universe.

I don’t need them to show everything, but if they’re going out of their way to show one of the realms in the multiverse, and portray it in a way that is different from all the other erased spaces in the game, it seems notable to consider.
they don't portray it differently, Shadow's and Sonic's stages look normal when they get inside

“Affected” idk, the movie verse seems pretty much untouched and doesn’t need to be restored, which if it’s part of the multiverse seems more like an anti-feat for erasing all of space time.

Unless this is actually more of a range feat for Time Eater being able to interfere with other multiverses to a minor degree.
Did you even take a moment to consider that it could be consistent with how other stages are depicted before denying it as a multiversal range feat for the Generations space-time shenanigans and even claiming it's an anti-feat?

Seriously, that was like clockwork lmao

Usually other stages are depicted as colorless on the outside, unlike Tokyo.
So, yeah I did consider it.

There's no white access point to be depicted

Most importantly, the stage appeared through a purple portal, so it's inherently involved in the space-time anomaly. Your argument was moot to begin with

There we go. Proof Time Eater affected multiple universes. A purple portal made the universe pop-in, similar to Boss Gates, Purple Portals and the mirror thing from the Death Egg Robot fight.
That tiny purple hole didn’t "make the universe pop in." All it did was summon the movieverse ring, and Tokoyo still looked colorful and intact. Even throughout the entire cutscenes, it’s clear the place wasn’t affected at all or else a random G.U.N helicopter and buildings can resist this shit but Sonic friends couldn't?

That does raise an interesting question, though:

If the Time Eater was able to erase the cosmology (going by the site's profiles, specifically) and the Movieverse was unaffected by the TE's erasing shenanigans, but still had the range to summon a Ring Portal from that verse, then is that suppose to insinuate the movies and games occupy different cosmologies or am I just overthinking things?

The movie verse wasn't "unaffected". Sometimes I wonder if people actually played Generations. All of the bosses arenas in both Gens and Shadow Gens don't show if they've been erased and we enter through them via portals, too. Chemical Plant has color in the cutscene when Tails and Sonic go inside before Amy is rescued. Downplayers need to find something better to do.

Yeah, that always struck me as odd, Sonic and Shadow are supposed to be restoring the levels spatially by running, but they already look restored when you enter, so what is the levels regaining color in the hubworld symbolizing?

Yes it was unaffected, whole cutscenes goes against you

Those portals aren’t even the same, one suddenly came from a different dimension (and even shows the area being untouched inside of it), while the purply rest were created by TE/BD. It makes sense they wouldn’t be shown as erased, since the hedgehogs already restored those places or else why do you think the bosses can even move in the first place?

Yapping doesn't make your argument better when I finished Generations 10 times

That’s clearly due to game limitations/ laziness especially considering the cutscenes did show those places colorless and even tails pointed it out. There’s also a mini manga where Sonic is shown fixing those areas by running through them so..

Star, you're the type of person that will never accept Time Eater erased more than one universe. Even if the creators did say he did (which they did) you would never accept it. No point in arguing with you.

The cutscenes prove what I say, Mr. "Played Generations 10 times".

Chemical Plant has color even though this is before Sonic rescues Amy.

Ah, it reminds me of Pain saying that Adolla only affected Earth even when the series itself shows that this is not the case, and he says "I read Fire Force several times"

I will take Solaris scaling over Cosmology level TE
Ya just from the offset the time eater affecting all the cosmology seems pretty silly, that would need extraordinary proof to prove sense it's a tier one feat vs a tier 2 feat for it just being the local universe. Even counting blaze's universe it would still be a tier 2 feat

User, this cutscene is directly after you went through and finished Chemical Plant, what's that supposed to prove exactly?
This cutscene plays once you finish Act 2 ONLY. Meaning it's before Chemical Plant is restored and Amy is saved, Mr. "I played Generations 10 times but I missed this plot-point somehow".

just like all other stages in Generations, which look the same even tho they were erased

also, Hypertimeline hello? traveling to Space-Time Erased places before their erasure is honestly just more evidence

Not really.

How many times do the developers have to tell people "Time Eater erased all of space-time" in interviews before they believe Time Eater erased ALL (not some, not a portion) of space-time?

Good thing there's plenty of proof:

I mean if you running through it restored it it should be mostly restored by act 2

The point is that it needs to look "colorless" in order to show that the Time Eater affected it, but Chemical Plant doesn't look colorless when Sonic and Tails enter it BEFORE it's restored fully.

Isn't act 3 just a boss fight? Like 85% of the restoration is done. This dosen't prove anything dude

Actually you could Solaris one is even more ridiculous because there is no proof of him affecting all existence

instead use it to support the Hypertimeline and 1-C to spite them instead
It unironically does.

People fail to realize that if the End of Time IS the verse's hypertime, that the Time Eater should be more than capable of causing distortions at a point in time where the movieverse is still in existence. After all, the hypertime would contain an uncountable infinite amount of snapshots that each hold a different snapshot of the multiverse (and in each, the multiverse is in a different state).

Especially when the Time Eater and Black Doom are each causing distortions of their own.

Ea eggman says all dimensions you could aurge there are some parts of the cosmology that shouldn't refer too especially places eggman explicitly discovers later that work differently then most realitys but it's fine as it is

the developers? forget that, Tails himself says as much in universe lol
