That would make the base cast scale to uncountable/possibly Infinite Low 1-C by the time of Forces. Because Void.
Funnily enough you can argue Metal Overlord should upscale from Void and other Maginaryworld stuff as well, which adds a bit of consistency. Still kinda wack though.

Do you buy that statement tho or nah?
If Super Sonic was consistent in power or grew in power over time the statement would make a lot of sense. Even with what we have now you can make arguments for scaling to like the lower end dimensional tiering if you say that base Sonic influences Super to some degree.

Well, it is a roblox simulator game. The trails mostly provides statistics amplification like power (more damage), getting more rings out of a single one and exp... which is textbook accelerated development.

I'd feel sorry for people trying to index trail haxes going off of their appearance & name alone (or maybe im just overthinking it)

I also need someone more credible on universal feats to figure out what type of acausality the universal feat gives and any other resistances they might give

What's the specific reasoning?
Mainly just how much he’s hyped up during Heroes.

Eggman believes he can’t be beaten without the Chaos Emeralds and even with them it would take “a miracle” (2:02), despite coveting them for their “unimaginable” power. That should bare minimum put Eggman’s knowledge of the Chaos Emeralds’ peak above Maginaryworld stuff based on how we currently use the unimaginable power scan. Even if Metal Overlord is downgraded through the idea that Team Sonic aren’t using the actual peak of the Chaos Emeralds, they should still be using what is believed to be their peak at the time based on the reasonings currently used for 1-C Metal Overlord.

Outside of that, Metal Overlord needing to be hit by Team Blasts to be damaged and a comment from Tails about him being “invincible” (12:44) could put him at a similar level to Void as well. Even if Sonic and Co. used the environment to attack Void, I feel the context around Metal Overlord could still put him higher.

Tbh I’m not 100% on all this, though partly because as I implied before I’m wary on trying to push for Tier 1 base Sonic. Feels like we might be flying too close to the Sun with that one. However I do think this combined with the Infinite statement could potentially give us a “possibly Low 1-C” rating. Though this all entirely depends on how we end up handling Generations bosses in general, as I know some of us here are looking at a Modern era key for the Biolizard which would potentially affect other boss scaling depending on how we justify it.

"In Sonic Speed Simulator, Dr. Eggman successfully collected the Time Stones and used them in Green Hill to cause a dimensional merge between the present and past. This backfired, however, causing Classic Tails to be stuck between time, the sky above Green Hill Zone becoming distorted, and all seven Time Stones to shatter into thousands of shards. The player must then collect all 250,000 shards in the event, at which point the Time Stones will be remade, causing Classic Tails to be saved and being unlocked as a playable character."

I agree that based on context, Metal Overlord should be superior to Void

But from a perspective of indexing, you're absolutely flying close to the sun

oh yeah that was a thing, the lore in this game is insane

Does anyone know what ability this would be?

I'm sure it'll be fine making Adventure Shadow fight someone who's 21.06 MegaFoe and has at least Class T lifting strength

Damn. Actual feats for the Time Stones. This seems to be advanced time manipulation and sealing since Classic Tails got stuck between time I guess

Sonic: Well, maybe that will be explained in the next work, in a movie or in a comic. But, be it on a Mega Drive's ROM, when I'm doing the vocals for the band, or breaking the sound barrier, I'm me no matter where or when. Who I am will never change.

In a way, I find cute the fairy-tale-like existence Sonic had early on in Japanese material. They could bring that back and I would enjoy it.

Imagine you’re Bowser, and you’re kicking ASS. You’re stronger, tougher, and surprisingly, faster! And then the egg shaped dork pulls out a pair of shoes from his cockpit and all of the sudden he’s blitzing you so hard you’ve lost the will to live.

Like, the mental image is so funny dude.

Damn. This battle really is picking the most obscure shit as counters.

Any time after Unleashed since Orbot and Cubot appear.
This makes the most sense

Though the official stance is that Prime takes place after Advance 3. I take Ian's answers based on the context in which they're said given his answers can be rather opinionated. In this instance, he seemed to just be answering the question outright. He was probably telephoning the answer that Sonic Team gave to him

Even still, the appearance of Orbot and Cubot means Sonic Prime should only take place as early as after Sonic Colors

Well Bowser vs Eggman is less than a week away and I'm pretty sure Eggmans losing this one. So that in mind what is your preffered eggman death for the episode? For me if Eggman loses I hope Bowser drops him into a vat of his own metal virus goo since that feels kind of fitting in a way.

I want Eggman to break Bowser's heart, because part of the key difference between them is just genuinely HOW MUCH MORE EVIL Eggman is than the King of the Koopas. It should be an Anti-Billcord in my eyes. Bowser wins, at the cost of...everything. A hollow Victory where Eggman reigns supreme after death, having lost the battle but won the war.

As such, I feel like Bowser should crunch Eggman between his hands after Robotnik monologues about how he easily played the Koopa King like the fool he was.
