Sonic Question Time: If you could make a game similar to Shadow Generations but with a different character instead of Shadow, what sort of set of abilities would you add to said character like Shadow's Doom Powers from his Black Arms DNA?

My personal answer would be a Silver based game that greatly expands on Silver's psychokinesis abilities and goes beyond telekinesis and flying and all that. Like imagine Silver doing things like creating physical constructs from his psychic energy, mind controlling enemies to attack each other, creating projections to trick enemies, or even just enhancing Silver's existing usage to make his telekinesis visually insane to the eyes.
Knuckles game focused on the Master Emerald and exclusive chaos powers it gives.

If that was the case, Wally West Vs Archie Sonic would have turned out differently. But you know how it goes with Death Battle and DC. Gotta downplay the other verse to prop up DC more.
And it was the case. The pre-planning had Archie as equal if not larger and Super Sonic as the winner, the reason why he lost was a research outside of his that found statements to make the Speed Force bigger at basically the last minute.

Metal Sonic easy. I would love a game where you go around fighting other Sonic characters and copying abilities and techniques from them. It would also been cool to see Metal developed more.

Sonic almost won, but then new discoveries pushed it to Wally's side pretty much. Such as being above the bleed and all that.

I would adore a Silver game. Literally just, like, make it Garry's Mod but instead of garry from mod you are Silver The Hedgehog. There's so much you can do with this. I would also like an Amy game.
Part of me thinks a Silver game can benefit with some Half-Life 2 vibes, but for that just revive Fifth Phantom Saga.

I'd really like for SEGA to revive this game given the unique gameplay and vibes from it, but it was scrapped in favor for Silver's gameplay in 06.

Pretty sure they've confirmed to finding DC cosmology larger than Archie's at large. Flash does legitimately win due to higher scaling, speed, hax, and speedforce shit, too.
Literally not true in Flash’s case due to him being limited in his dimensional tiering within the DC Cosmology in mind.

There is no evidence for it being Outerversial let alone above 7th dimensional.

Aside from Metal Sonic who was already brought up, I want to see Amy using full-on magic involving her tarot cards. As long as they don’t pull a Frontiers and forget the Piko-Piko Hammer exists.

I can't believe how confidantly you assert that despite DC's absurdly expansive history and its countless cosmological components. Even this Wiki, still notorious for DC downplay, has Wally at 1-B, so this is already bullshit and we went over this.
Considering this site has Wally at 1B then at the very least Death Battle got the result right lol.
Not sure how high into 1-B he is here, but I do plan to upgrade Archie Sonic to 1-B as well if the current upgrade ends up failing. Still think Wally is probably slightly more likely to win than not, but it's really complicated and close.

If both are of reasonably similar tier, I and others usually lean on Wally in a close, but clear cut win. If you're putting the Speed Force at like Outer then yeah, Sonic can't really beat that. But if that upgrade goes through then by site standards, things will be pretty close.

Premise: After a major jobbing session that resulted in actual harm to Cream, Gemerl's fighting spirit re-awakens and he goes on a multi-day journey to train after Omega agrees to watch over Cream and Vanilla for him. At the Rabbit Household, tea time ensues.

Gemerl - Training | Copy Powers.

You gain skill EXP as you defeat roaming Badniks or Badnik Companies, which work up filling a bar. Once filled, it rewards Attribute Points. Defeating Super Badniks or infiltrating and destroying Egg Fleet ships/Eggman Bases grant you immediate Attribute Points (and it has a chance of rewarding you with bonus cosmetics for Gemerl, be it a change of colors to cute Cream stickers across his forehead and body). With Attribute Points, you can level Gemerl's stats to increase his speed/power/technique/evasion/ability and etc. to a cap of 100.

Encounters:
  • Diamond Cutters 2.0 (Whisper, Tangle, and Lanolin + her Magenta Wisp)
  • Metal Sonic
  • Silver
  • Surge & Kit
  • Sonic
  • Shadow
Each of these characters would grant "Copy Powers" that further enhance his attributes; thus comes with the additional effects of changing Gemerl's entire combat style, arsenal, and movement reflect the individual he's copying. Combinations would be customizable and interchangeable in a separate section chosen in the pause menu. So, for example.
  • Style: Sonic - Swiftness (Grant improved recovery speed from performing attacks and a passive 20% speed buff).
  • Light Attacks: Surge (Gemerl's melee attacks are enhanced with electricity, and he can perform minor blasts of it from his hands).
  • Heavy Attacks: Lanolin (Firstly, why would you pick Lanolin? Anyways- Gemerl uses the power of Magenta Rhythm to either release destructive and crushing waves of sound or to forcibly make enemies dance to music).
  • Copy Power: Shadow (Grants access to Chaos Control. Adds a meter in combat that, once built up, automatically grants Gemerl Chaos Boost - can stack 3x, each additional level requiring another filling of the new meter. Replaces the Homing Attack with Chaos Snap).
I think it would be fun to see Gemerl duke it out with these characters and display the glory of his predecessor once again, while allowing for some insane customization that we've never seen before.

PHEW. Sorry for the giant wall, I got deep in this for no reason lol

Every answer to this question has been absolute heat. I love all of them

I had been pondering of a simular idea. But instead of the Emerl's copy ability, I was thinking on doubling down on his ability to fuse with machinery. Depending on the type/number of enemies you defeat by the end of level, you can upgrade Gemerl, having him assimilate weapons from defeated mechs.
Your idea is WAY better tho, it could work for a Metal Sonic spin-off too.

I was revisiting Windii's Sonic Rush gameplay and found something, wouldn't Eggman and Eggman Nega's plan to create an Eggmanland that surpasses all dimensions with the Chaos Emeralds and Sol Emeralds be Low 1-A?
Even by Character Stats And Profiles Wiki standards, this scene by itself only implies 5D. The thing is that when Nega says thier Eggmanland would surpass all dimensions, he IS referring to spatio-temporal dimensions, but there's no reason to assume he's reffering to every dimensional axis that could ever possibly exist. He's just reffering to the dimensions that he knows exists in the cosmology, which would make this 7D at most.

Sonic Rumble giving toy eggman a line about the infinitely more infinite than infinite number of spacial dimensions but it only applies to plastic

I think I brought this up, and it was argued it was more akin to space coexisting in the same dimensional plane but outside Sonic and Blaze’s worlds.
That's not what the kanjis say, but it doesn't matter, since it's nowhere near 1-A and this Wiki isn't gonna let it count for anything

You're right. I need to reply to these comments myself and give my feedback.

To this? I like your Silver game idea, but a Chaotix spin-off in a different genre and style more befitting of them, or Sonic x Knuckles Unleashed work too.
You know, I can totally see the Chaotix in a Adventure style game where Espio, Charmy, and Vector all have different ways of getting through levels while maintaining the high speed platforming of the franchise. Though I wouldn't want Vector to be completely slow just because he's a powerhouse type character.

This idea would work exceptionally well because not only is the Knuckles the only character who can use the Master Emerald to its full potential, but a Knuckles game with this concept could further continue the revelation we are given in Frontiers where the Chaos Emeralds originated from space. I mean the Chaos Emeralds are connected to the Master Emerald and the latter can negate the former, so I'd like to see who or what create the Master Emerald.

So basically like Kirby but with Sonic style gameplay and platforming? Yeah I can see that, especially since even normal Metal Sonic has the ability to copy other abilities and techniques. Though, if you're looking to see Metal Sonic be developed then maybe the plot could be where all the good guys become mind controlled or something and Metal Sonic is ironically the only one around that can stop them and save the world.

A lot of people often forget that Gemerl is a direct successor to Emerl since Eggman created him througn the latter's biodata, so I would like to see SEGA bring back Gemerl's connection to Emerl through backstory or the copying shtick.

Overall: Y'all got some really great ideas and it makes it all the more exciting for what the future of Sonic will be after 2024.

I think of any character/team that could go for a spin-off, Chaotix are most deserving of it. They're fan favorites and might be able to have that pull, but they gotta become more relavent first at the same time. However your Adventure style Chaotix game works, going the Ace Attourney visual novel route can do them well too.
