Premise: After a major jobbing session that resulted in actual harm to Cream, Gemerl's fighting spirit re-awakens and he goes on a multi-day journey to train after Omega agrees to watch over Cream and Vanilla for him. At the Rabbit Household, tea time ensues.
Gemerl - Training |
Copy Powers.
You gain skill EXP as you defeat roaming Badniks or Badnik Companies, which work up filling a bar. Once filled, it rewards Attribute Points. Defeating Super Badniks or infiltrating and destroying Egg Fleet ships/Eggman Bases grant you immediate Attribute Points (and it has a chance of rewarding you with bonus cosmetics for Gemerl, be it a change of colors to cute Cream stickers across his forehead and body). With Attribute Points, you can level Gemerl's stats to increase his speed/power/technique/evasion/ability and etc. to a cap of 100.
Encounters:
- Diamond Cutters 2.0 (Whisper, Tangle, and Lanolin + her Magenta Wisp)
- Metal Sonic
- Silver
- Surge & Kit
- Sonic
- Shadow
Each of these characters would grant "Copy Powers" that further enhance his attributes; thus comes with the additional effects of changing Gemerl's entire combat style, arsenal, and movement reflect the individual he's copying. Combinations would be customizable and interchangeable in a separate section chosen in the pause menu. So, for example.
- Style: Sonic - Swiftness (Grant improved recovery speed from performing attacks and a passive 20% speed buff).
- Light Attacks: Surge (Gemerl's melee attacks are enhanced with electricity, and he can perform minor blasts of it from his hands).
- Heavy Attacks: Lanolin (Firstly, why would you pick Lanolin? Anyways- Gemerl uses the power of Magenta Rhythm to either release destructive and crushing waves of sound or to forcibly make enemies dance to music).
- Copy Power: Shadow (Grants access to Chaos Control. Adds a meter in combat that, once built up, automatically grants Gemerl Chaos Boost - can stack 3x, each additional level requiring another filling of the new meter. Replaces the Homing Attack with Chaos Snap).
I think it would be fun to see Gemerl duke it out with these characters and display the glory of his predecessor once again, while allowing for some insane customization that we've never seen before.
PHEW. Sorry for the giant wall, I got deep in this for no reason lol
