Or Goku could just hit her with a Ki blast from afar and be done with it. I doubt he'd see much point in engaging an opponent trillions of times weaker than him in CQC. Dodging arrows shouldn't really be much of a probelm if he's fought opponents comparable to him in speed and still dodged their attacks. That and the moment he sees something like a tree turning to stone behind him he'd get the message that getting hit is a no-go.

? Hancock's petrification seems to work only on what she intends to petrify; when she's used attacks before attacks that have missed or passed through like the mero mero haven't turned the environment into stone; it works on cannon balls as that is what she was intending to hit.
 
Color of Observation(Observation Haki) grants precognition and Extrasensory perception. I think intention sensing as well.
 
Colour of Observation haki grants her precogntion and the ability to sense the intentions of attack her opponent will make.

If Goku were bloodlusted, no. But since she can one shot him with her abilities it'll be very hard for him to hit her in CQC or hit her with Ki blasts due to her precog. But Goku can one shot.

I really doubt that Goku is gonna bother facing someone weaker than Chi-Chi in CQC. A Ki blast would be the quickest and most sensible way to end the fight and I definitely see Goku doing that here.

And him just using an AoE attack isn't out of the question when he sees her dodging all of his directed Ki blasts.
 
The main reason I changed my vote is because of speed equalization. CoO can help her dodge most attacks, and if Goku goes in for h2h combat it'll be even worse.

Edit:AOE might be a problem though.
 
It's because her power level around that time was comparable to Master Roshi earlier on in the series. And because this site says the moon busting feat is an outlier, Master Roshi is City level. Hence, Chi-Chi's rating on the wiki.

How does the sealing function and how likely is he to use it in character? Is it for his Dead zone key? Would he be able to pull it off/resort to it before getting petrified?

It might not affect the battle if Goku doesn't normally lead with sealing,
