So about that Blood Moon in Breath of the Wild...

So I brought this up in this thread, but there's a piece of dialogue in the game that implies that Ganon is the one who causes and moves the Blood Moon.

But before I get into that, I want to point out the reason we disgarded Ganon moving the moon in the first place:

"... Link... Link... Be on your guard. Ganon's power grows...it rises to its peak under the hour of a Blood Moon."

Here Zelda states that Ganons power rises while the Blood Moon is out, and he uses this breif power up to revive all the dead monsters Link has killed. This implies that Ganon doesn't have any control over the Blood Moon at all and that it's a natural phenomenon that Ganon has to wait for.

But then theres this piece of dialogue:

"For 100 years now, every so often when the clock strikes midnight, the sky turns red and a full moon rises..."

This is said by Hino who is an expert on the phases of the Moon. He says that the Blood Moon had only started occurring 100 years prior to Links Awakening which lines up with the reemergence of Calamity Crenando that was also 100 years ago, and implies that everything surrounding the Blood Moon is because of Ganon. And as shown here (Around 52 seconds into the video), the Blood Moon is closer to the planet than the moon normally is before returning to proper orbit.

So yeah, there's a chance that Ganon moving the moon could be legit, and may possibly be an upgrade to 5-A for BOTW Link? Idk.

But if legit this would also scale to Malo

You should probably ask Azathoth for input here.

The real cal howard said:
Frankly, this Ganon is tier 4, as he's supposed to be pretty darn close to Demise.
That is Bad Localization: In the Original Japonese Version, Zelda does not say that this is Ganon strongest form and assumed a form based on rage on power, she said a completely different line.
