Shovel knight and Custom Knight changes

Agree with all except for limited magic as a weakness because I'm pretty sure that's a game mechanic for four reasons:

1: The playable bosses can use Relics for their campaigns without limit, shown by Specter Knight using Throwing Sickle, Bounding Soul, and Judgement Rush during his KoC fights, Plague Knight using Vats during his boss fights, King Knight using Scepter of Soaring and Horns of Heralding during his boss fights, and Shovel Knight using War Horn during his PoS fight.

2: The campaign protagonists don't have limited magic for their Relic attacks in Shovel Knight Showdown.

3: Some Relics are objects that could be feasibly used without magic (Staff of Striking, Dueling Glove, Throwing Anchor, Bait Bomb, etc.)

4: In Rivals of Aether (which is stated to be canon in the tweet from the post above this one), Shovel Knight's Relics don't cost magic.

Specifically Shovel Knight can actually run out of magic in his boss fight

I don't think he should have either of the relics he uses in that mode given the timeline

I am only going to acknowledge the ones shovel knight uses since he is the only who uses magic. How does he throw more than one he only bought one anchor

It says that custom knight relics are canon and references their use in rivals of aether. It doesn't directly say it is canon.

I'd consider magic to be a canon limitation, the bosses not using it isn't really more reliable for canon than the player characters needing to. Otherwise I think this is good to apply, with the evidence that it's canon

Is this weakness only applicable to Shovel Knight then? Because if so, I guess that's fine

I mean the other argument is that they get to use only certain relics freely and without clear reason. Plague Knight's power regenerates so he definitely isn't affected.

I'd say that the other argument would actually be that the other campaign protagonists get to use all relics freely since there would be no reason for them to only use some relics freely and not others.
