Okay. Thank you for the replies. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

And what about that there are no official English translations of these stories?
We have officially translations for Dies Irae. We also have several web and light novels which either have no official translation or whose official translation is hundreds of chapters behind where our profiles are. Some series even uterlise and have been accepted using machine translations. So to say this is a problem for this series in particular is a major double standard.

Hmm. Several wrongs do not make a right though, so I am uncertain.

Do we have finished translations for the entire series available already then, or do we have to wait for that to finish?

I'm just gonna say o7 and leave:

yes we have translated DI and frankly it is the largest, probably 1/2 of the entire work
That said, the parts that are untranslated, we get the actual quote necessary for the profile and @Chasekilleen helped/helps/helping in translating them.

This is literally impossible
The bad translation? This is not even the worst thing that can happen, MTL can **** up super hard and make up literal fanfics
Well first the Narakas were never retconned not even once, they were literally introduced in K3, more was said about them in DI pantheon and then mroe in Avesta, nothing about them was retconned, I do not know where you are seeing thins
The Naraka was originally a single individual, then it became 5 different individuals. Shinza 100% has a lot of retcons

We have official translations for DI and Interview, and an unofficial one for Song of the Witch. These are DI and its spinoffs in specific

Some dude on youtube had a translated playthrough of Paradise Lost iirc, but KKK, Avesta and Aditya do not have any translations (Avesta has summaries of chapters on Spacebattles though, or at least someone was doing them, no idea on Aditya). The likelihood of official translations are close to zero though, since Light's parent company went bankrupt, which is why Avesta is a web novel (iirc the same goes for Aditya as well, but I am not 100% sure)

Half of the series being translated does not sound that bad, until you realize that these three are the ones that are the most important in regards to lore. Most of the old profiles relied very heavily on KKK statements for a lot of their scaling, and from what I've been told KKK is actually a billion times worse than the others, since it is written in some old Japanese dialect

here is what the most knowledgeable person on shinza that I know has to say about vs wiki in space battles
This is Trex, right? Yeah, he never liked people that wanked Shinza that much

If the company went bankrupt that raises into question if the verse even has sufficient notability to be featured on the site.
Iirc it went bankrupt because it tried to develop a gacha game while also having some other issues(there was also the DI anime which flopped from what I recall, but I am not sure how damaging that was to the company). I think that this actually caused problems in regards to who owns the Pantheon assets

Masada, the creator and main writer, continued the franchise as a series of web novels, so I think that it should count (and Shinza is still popular enough to nigh-instantly have all art books sold out and whatnot, but this is in Japan)

That aside though, it's very unlikely for us to get an official translation

I understand you want to save the discussion of the details until later, but do you have an example of a revised page? To be frank, this seems to just be echoing the sentiment of "We won't make the same mistakes again. Please let us back in." without much evidence of how specifically the pages have been changed/improved upon.
The reason the wiki was deleted was because we physically couldn't improve them. This was due to a lack of supporters, scans, etc.

No immunities unless you lack what is targeted

That needs translations for the non-translated scans.

That aside, wouldn't it make more sense to make the cosmology blog first, see if it holds up to scrutiny and people actually can agree on stuff and then decide if the pages come back?
He's been making a cosmology blog for a while, but he wanted to first get the profiles back on the wiki (as they were before, of course) before any new changes

I meant the verse, my bad. The verse was deleted because there weren't enough knowledgeable people and nobody was able to get in any actual changes
Tbh I am still not confident whether things will be better this time around, especially since Shinza had Demonbane levels of misinformation regarding it on this wiki

We'll just have to wait and see tbf. If things don't work out, then Shinza absolutely should get perma-banned off the wiki

That's is false, Demonbane had fake scans. Shinza's problem was opinions on Tier 1 ratings being different from person to person based on what they thought applied. A classic Tier 1 issue that is no way limited to this series.

The biggest problem with Shinza on the wiki was that hardly anyone read the verse and therefore took things out of context. You start getting all kinds of stupid stuff due to this.

I really think the cosmology blog should be evaluated first (when it's done, of course) before bringing back the pages, especially if the reasonings on the pages would be outdated/unreliable until it's accepted to begin with.

Well it would just bring the pages back to what they were before any changes. It would be the equivalent to just reverting the deletion, and then actually making changes

again we are not using MTL, it is not that hard to understand.
but that aside, the wiki now allows the use of MTL

you have incomplete knowledge on shinza
but let me explain it was never retconned, the 5 different individuals are mithra's companion from aditya, they are not the real naraka they named themselves the naraka after meeting the real one, they are called the "Naraka rangers".
It was simple mithra and her freinds took a trip to origin coordinates to find the source of the immortality curse, when they got there upon seeing the naraka they all ran mad except mithra but it was said she became more crazy than them since she created the throne, then they named themselves the naraka so they do not forget why the throne was created which is to keep the real naraka out.
Which part of this is retconned?
Yes there are two narakas, the real one and the fakes. It was not retconned

song to the witch is barely one hour

Again, we have the four physical volume of avesta and literally all of us have gon through K3, and again we are not using MTL. it is as simple as that.
We provide actual TL if you feel like we are not providing accurate TL, feel free to do the TL again and call us out on it

Actually DI spoke the most about the singularity relation to the throne and the creation, which is literally half of the cosmology already.
So again that old japanese dialect is nothing since we literally have someone who speaks japanese helping us here.

Also it is the chants that are hard to translate since he mixed them with chinese kanjis, all the rest anyone who knows jap can read and translate it.

I think what he's saying is that using MTL on Shinza is a really bad idea.

A lot of retcons is a stretch. It has a few things that are genuine retcons. The Nerose stuff in Pantheon is one, the Naraka stuff is another, but apart from that, there aren't too many.

As someone who's read K3, it's not nearly as bad as some people have said. It's difficult for the same reason that Dies Irae was difficult to read in JP. This is due to Masada's prose.

The sections you're referring to are likely the language of the old world, which is indeed cancer to read through, and the occassional paragraph of pure kanji.

This is, of course, coming from pure memory. I haven't read K3 in a while

the naraka stuff is not a retcon really,
it is like i met you today you said, your name is Tarang.
then I saw you again the next day and you explained to me that your real name is not Tarang but rather a name you took up since you want revenge for someone who hit you once and you never want to forget the person and the name.

That is not retcon

Sure, but the notion of Naraka being one being vs being 5 beings is a retcon. Then they add in the other thing of there being an entirely different entity named Naraka, or Zero. That's an example of a genuine retcon in the series.

Which part of this is retconned?
Do you, uh, know what a retcon is?

The Naraka being changed from what was initially known about them is a retcon in this case, because the Naraka was definitely introduced as a single entity, and not as five individuals which was a latter addition

song to the witch is barely one hour
This is relevant how?

I would consider these to be a lot of retcons, mainly due to how important they are as well

Finally, some good f-ing food! The wiki was starting to get boring.
Shinza reaches tier 0 and get nuked in a week. Ngl, I do not want for it to be brought back due to all of the past issues it had, but it will be hilarious if it does make a return
