This is going to be an RPG in a fantasy setting, with VS Battles scaling. The actual setup is going to depend on the amount of registrations. I'll probably set the thread up when I get 3 or more registrations. For the play system, please wait til I respond to the last action to post the next one. Submit characters below, and I'll roll up your stats. If you have any ideas, go over them with me. Character races can basically include any humanoid or sapient race from traditional fantasy, and starting tier will be 10. No high-tier hax.

What information do we need to include for our character?
Kind of just a baseline setup. Just like, a character race(can be any classic fantasy race, or something else, like a beetlefolk, for example), a name, maybe a backstory if you want. I'll roll up a setup. If there are any abilities you want, just discuss them. We'll be starting out in Tier 10, with no high-tier hax right off the bat, but that'll change fairly fast.

Backstory: Emmo grew up in a village far from the bigger cities and other races. After he was old enough to roam he left the village and was nearly killed by the wildlife before he was saved by a traveling mage. The mage took pity on the frail bug boy and tried to teach him self defense magic only to find out that Emmo had a great amount of natural talent with magic. After learning some basic spells, Emmo set off to learn more about magic and the world.

Race: BagwormFolk. Currently in his larval stage.

Age: 17 about to be 18 where his metamorphosis will occur.

Classification: defensive support mage

Powers and Abilities:
STAND STRONG: A spell that casts a skin tight shield of magic around himself and his Allie’s granting a 2x boost to durability and a 1.5x boost to physical attacks.

BE HEALED: A basic healing spell that heals basic minor damage with a single use but can cure poison, curses and other ailments if applied constantly over time.

HEY STOP THAT: A spell with a 50/50 chance to remove all buffs from his enemies.

Personality: Emmo is very curious and friendly towards strangers so much so he can feel off putting. He forms bonds to people very quickly and will protect anyone he considers a friend. He often uses his natural plant weaving skills to make flower crowns for his friends.

Appearance: Standing roughly 4ft tall, Emmo is humanoid with 4 insect like arms with claws meant for climbing trees and weaving plants to make clothes. He wears a orange and brown leaf suit he made himself. It consists of a hood and jacket obscuring his face with only his bright orange eyes visible along with his antenna. His lower half is covered by “pants” constructed of leaves and vines weaved together.

This is sometimes taken as a sign of distrust or arrogance however Cyrus just doesn’t want to see others hurt and his isolation makes it hard for him to communicate that.

Backstory: In an attempt to control the masses of a town, an old mayor asked several doctors and shamans to create an instrument that would allow him to rule over the emotions of others, that way he could convince people to do his will forever, through various parts of animals and magical monsters, something that went wrong, because the creation when is tested, it drained all the emotions without stopping until it left the town dry and in this way it managed to obtain free will

Race: Demon Parasite Humanoid

Age: 21

Classification: Psychevore

Powers and Abilities:
Emotional Drain: As a Psychevore, Delsin can drain and eat the emotions of others or his own, this for various purposes, For example: He wants a soldier to flee, it will calm all his emotions except fear and panic. Although this would make it more likely that the soldier would flee, he would not force him to do so; an individual brave enough, stubborn or conscientious enough could choose to stay or could do the opposite for someone to fight a hard-to-win war; although if someone is sure enough that he cannot win this one he would not participate in this one.

When one's head is protected by aluminum or its alloy, he or she cannot be affected by Emotional Drain.

Unlimited: As if he were a Vampire, he can turn emotions into power, this to regenerate his strength and fight non-stop.

Constructs: Delsin can create constructs from mental energy, such as weapons or armor to protect himself, although his constructs are repelled by aluminum.

Personality: Delsin has a voracious hunger for emotions, going to cities to eat chaotic emotions, especially fear and hatred for him is the same as beer, the only emotion that he could never eat constantly is Love, being this very sweet as the cakes, in other aspects he is someone intrepid who looks for adventures and challenges, being someone very impulsive

Backstory: Supposed varies (Some records exist supporting the existence of some identities and seems to remember events involving them but other evidence supports the coexistence of several individuals it claimed to be and acknowledges blatant lies on its behalf)

Race: Varies (Is a shapeshifter often mocks the idea of them having one or a gender.)

Age: Supposedly varies(records of individuals it identities as very sometimes separated by decades in first appears shapeshifting natural revealed 16 years ago.

Classification: Likely insane, clown, sea monster, foul fowl, trickster, shapeshifter claims others.

Powers and Abilities: Alter self: They decide what their form, including height, weight, facial features, sound of their voice, hair length, coloration, and distinguishing characteristics, if any. Physical qualities including mundane movement capabilities (such as burrowing, climbing, walking, swimming, flying ), natural weapons, low level adaptations(like underwater breathing and resistances to stuff like fire or poison). This also grants high low regen.

Personality: Varies (or so some claim the truth is unclear if the many identities are actually different minds, their insanity, or an an act all together seems intent on keeping that unknown generally docile trying to annoy or entertain others around them.)

Appearance: Varies (is a shapeshifter common forms are a pale humanoid with what appears to be colorful clothes, a squid, a large avian, and a talking snake)

I won't roll stats, because a shifter would change stats too easily. You scale to the rest of the party via forms.

Backstory: A faulty attempt to make a humanoid universal conduit. Originally intended/designed to be a bulky supportive unit, capable of draining many forms of energy to weaken offense and defense. However, due to early experimentation to 'perfect' the 'universal conduit', there were of course mistakes here and there. Subjects were deemed failures due to unforeseen flaws in function. This being one of them.

Race: Human-Conductor Hybrid, Male (Though appears pretty feminine)

Age: 37

Classification: Prototype war advancement Cyborg (Previously), Peaceful local and Mechanic

Powers and Abilities:

Recover: Although he's not capable of absorbing many types of energy as intended, he is still capable of absorbing the main thing he was designed to do so. Vitality, on a more tangible level. This would mean he's capable of sapping physical projections of one's vitality, such as what one would associate with 'Chi', 'Aura's', etc. in addition to things such as stamina. Because of this, he is practically always in peak condition in terms of energy/vitality himself, however, is quite flawed as stated before.

Overheat: While his flaw is detrimental, it actually provides useful additional abilities. As if a weak battery taking in too much charge, if he absorbs an abundance of vitality, he will gradually become hotter and hotter, capable of overheating, if not straight up dying because of it. However, due to the high temperatures he reaches, he can somewhat bypass conventional durability with physical attacks from his body which burns at nearly melting temperatures. While this could give him an advantage, allowing him to harm/burn/melt (in very extreme cases) people who he normally shouldn't be able to, it's also again very detrimental. This isn't an 'ability' after all, it's a flaw in his design. Overheating could very easily kill him, cooking himself from the inside out. He can either cool down by waiting it out, or discharge vitality to cool down.

Discharge: This essentially just allows him to release the vitality he's siphoned. Either lending it to someone else or simply to stop him from being killed by his overheat state. He's currently incapable of weaponizing his discharges due to faulty design.

Personality: He likes to reflect on his past self, his eager, yet overly righteous self. He has become mellowed out over the years, becoming a genuinely chill person willing to help out those in actual need. Though doesn't care much nor really likes to extensively delve into the past, particularly his and those exposed to the same line of experimentation as him. He often offers help around town to residents and is willing to take contract work. He's not too fond of violence.

Backstory: Kimari is just a young lady that always looked outside the box. She was always sheltered by her parents within a tiny area of forest. When she got older, around her 50's in human years, she decided to disappear. Leaving without any plan or any preparation, she ended up becoming a thief, stealing anything she thought could benefit her, and this nasty habit later devolved into her being a slight kleptomaniac. She's still a nice person and she's somewhat of a traveling hero, trying to go around the world and help people when she can, but since her abilities are weak, she typically uses long-ranged weapons to help her out.

Race: Female Elf

Age: 57 in human years

Classification: Wood Elf, Child, Druid (if you want to put this in D&D class terms)

Powers and Abilities: Shapeshifting (Kimari has the power to shapeshift into a bird, appearing much like a Skua when doing so. Her ability to turn into an animal also allows her to talk to animals.), Air Manipulation (She also has the ability to generate large air gusts and control them, which allows for much more mobility in the sky. If air is close enough to her, she can even make a low-level barrier by compacting it and amplifying the density of it. This is her most useful and powerful ability.), and Size Manipulation (Kimari's last ability is to shift her size from 3 to 8 feet tall.

Personality: Kimari is a nice lady who doesn't really believe in rules or boundaries, which has gotten her in trouble in various areas. She's a generally hyperactive and reckless person who doesn't see immediate consequences in her actions. She's an impulsive individual who lets emotions get the best of her judgement almost all the time. However, when she's completely calm, she actually generates some good ideas and is pretty analytic.
