This is more of a help request than anything else, for anyone who's played the game.

I was hoping that someone can help me find and calc speed feats for this series. Square Enix games turn out to have surprisingly good feats, and I'm hoping that this'll be no different. Apparently, endgame is 5-B, but I don't know about everything else, especially speed, as stated above. I'd try to find feats myself, but I can't even get past the second boss...

Haven't played Mana in years. I played a bit of Sword of Mana, Legend of Mana and a bit of Seiken Densetsu 3 (I also love the hell out of Secret of Evermore, which was made by the American branch of Square and is basically a Secret of Mana with Americana themes. It's awesome), so I'd be willing to look around.

The wiki page says the Mana Fortress caused the ruination of the world until a hero with the Mana Sword destroyed it, so end game main character should scale. Whatever "ruination" means in this context I'm not quite sure.

I'm gonna highlight this so we can get more help. I plan to work on the girl's page (Primm).

I'll watch a playthrough on it after awhile. I have vivid memories of the MC dodging lightning at one point, but that could've been just magic.

You're out of luck with me. The only game I played was Children of Mana, and that was over ten years ago.

That said, I can help analyze lore and stuff if you want. I'll have to do some reading though.

Been a long time since I played Secret of Mana as well. But I do know Proto mentioned something about the main character having Planet level AP, Mach 6000 speed, and Town Level Durability in one of his videos. I can't seem to find those calcs anywhere, so I'm not very sure.

Skimming the wiki, it seems like the main villain has a pretty casual Town feat. Unfortunately, Proto removed a lot of his calcs and didn't upload a few he made (still looking for that feat that puts Alucard and Dracula from Castlevania at Large Planet level...). I have a feeling I know what the Planet feat is, but I'll need to find the proper context.

Mach 6000 is interesting, though.

I'm currently making a really early profile for Primm (because she has good abilities). Edit it as you see fit.

Mana Sword was ranked at planet level due to reality warping or something like that. Again, not sure where the speed and durability calcs are; all I know is that Protodude mentioned them. They may be on Naruto forums, but I can't seem find them anywhere. If I were to guess, Randi is town level for strength and durability without Mana Sword. But Proto may be a good person to ask.

Seems like they can be even faster. Lucent Beam is literally called pure light. So I can probably calc a speed feat from that.

@FanofRPGs

Oh yeah, I think Secret of Mana was a sequel to that game.

It's been a very long time since I played SoM, but I'll try to help as best as I can.

As far as I know, the Mana Spirits aren't necessarily gods/goddesses, but are representatives of the eight elements that make up the world. Dryad seems to be the most powerful, with her "Mana Magic", but other than that, I don't know how powerful they are. I know that Undine can freeze entire lakes of lava, and Salamando can make a town in the Ice Country as hot as one in the desert (IIRC, somebody in Kakara said "I might move to the Ice Country. I hear that there's a town as hot as this one there"), but that's as much as I can remember.

Then there's the issue of the Mana Beast. According to the intro, the Mana Beasts were not enough to destroy the fortress, but at the end of the game, a single Mana Beast almost does. I have no idea what that means. It surpasses itself? No idea. I'll need to play it again.

Also, by the way, aren't the official character names Randi, Purim, and Popoi? Just asking, because Cal called the girl "Primm" earlier.

Oh yeah, sorry to bump this thread, but I don't think Randi has a profile; at least not anymore.
