SCP Discussion Thread 5

Warhammer has countless dimensionals like scp, it just doesn't have a really long scaling chain and all the previously highest end 1-Bs like the chaos gods and emps were upgraded to high 1-B a long time ago. If no other verse has countless dimensionals and a scaling chain of them then 40k gets that spot.

Remind me How Swaan was the strongest 1B again
Because it's at the top of an insane scaling chain. Even the very bottom of the chain that Weekly posted earlier is still pretty far into 1B.

Would the GOC really have weaponized memes on the level of gods above the tree of life?

If so we need a GOC profile.

The GOC is stupidly haxxed, like really stupidly haxxed. Their regular footsoldiers have bullets that can banish tier 1 entities.

I wouldnt put it past them to have memetics that can affect tier 1 beings

I feel like eventually scaling is going to get massively out of hand for the Foundationverse. I wouldn't object to there being similar resitrictions to those placed on Marvel and DC.

Like, the GOC having Tier 1 weapons just doesn't sound right.

Now it's sounding like they have multiple separate feats of Tier 1 weaponry.

Also, @Weekly has any progress been made on the massive SCP Foundation revision that was getting started a few months ago?

the GOC is advanced.

Like, really, really advanced.

To the point where pretty much all of their technology is considered downright superior to all The Foundation's stuff.

It highly likely that the GOC would win against The Foundation if they fought, that being said The Foundation is extremely advanced in its own right and is far, far larger and more extensive than the GOC.

I knew they were way more advanced, but Tier 1 offensively? Damn.

they have some straight up broken af tech, but the foundation has access to anomolies and anomolous technology that put even that to shame (239, 2000, 2003 and quite a few others ring a bell)

The difference being, they have ACCESS to them, but they can't necessarily utilize them. And the anomalous tech they can utilize is usually strictly defensive (500, telekill, 2000).

the foundation overall really doesn't like using anomolies, but when shit hits the fan, at the very least, clef and kondraki definitely have busted shit they could use (like that giant laser gun and memes)

Sure, but the kind of stuff they have gets put to shame by GOC.

Read this tale for some stuff on that.

I don't know enough about the other fighters to vote yet, I'll drop one in once someone's given good reasons.

Since 3309 is Swann, does that mean that 682's newest termination attempt involved restructuring reality in order to avoid being deleted? Or would Swann itself have restructured reality so 682 wouldn't get deleted?

also, if i'm reading the newest apotheosis tale correctly, most of the 3731 guys weren't killed becuase by the time procedure 63-Lilac was activated they had become the size of celestial bodies and left the planet

To be fair, most of them didn't get that big, I think it was just Norman from the ones that were talked about. Monica was around the size of a mountain, others were floating islands, etc.

There aren't. I think a rating of "At least High 1-B (Capable of destroying the entire multiverse, which has been described as infinite dimensional numerous times) Likely 1-A (Stronger than Doctor Wondertainment, who could create an entire true platonic concept) For Yaldabaoth.

Thanks @Sandman

Anyways... For references sake, where is Wondertainment in the cosmology ? Though every 1-B via scaling spuld be far stronger than 609.... I'd like to know this for future reference.

I'm pretty sure it's much more safe to assume that the balls just have a conceptual existence than it is to call them 1-A based off of a philosophy that is name dropped without any additional details about *why* it embodies a platonic concept.

... I'm certain we don't care about what's "Safe"... Otherwise Weekly and the others wouldn't be aiming for High 1-B so much .... It just says that it embodies a Platonic Form and it's suppose to be heavily based on Plato's Theory of Forms. It doesn't matter why it says it, as long as they imply it's supposed to be based on said theory, which it did.
