Save the World: End of Chapter 1 (hopefully)

Melanie, st this point, didn't hear him. She was too busy staring at this fascinating beam of light. It was so...captivating. So pretty...she just wanted to See more of it...
 
I grit my teeth in pain as I arrive at the base completely unhealed.

"I have a hole in my stomach! What does he mean, "is everyone okay?" NO, obviously I am not okay!"
 
With my newfound abilities... I can obtain a lot of information about people by simply looking at them....their Stregnth....MP...Speed...HP...Endurance..Their true name...Class...and Level..

The power I gained from the Stereo Sphere this time doesn't even compare to before. So this is the power you gave me, huh, Yung?

I walk around the streets of Wakanda...The people can already tell I'm completely out of place with my clothes and ethnicity clearly being different from most of the people around me.

I don't mind it.

I jump from the ground along with a huge shockwave which disturbs everyone around me. I fly in the sky and begin to scan my eyes around the vicinity...Looking for someone who seems to be important....She might fit the bill...

I fly over, much faster than the speed of sound, towards a woman who seems to be important. Her level is higher than everyone else's, and her class of "General"...seems like it could be important.

After appearing directly in front of her, as if telporting, I use my telekinesis to completely restrain her movements, my TK even stops her mouth from opening, as I stare deep into her eyes.

"Okoye. Tell me where this country's stockpile of weapons are....along with it's more advanced and newer weapons. If you lie about not having that information, I'll just probe your memories and find it out anyway.....and as punishment for lying, I'll take your life along with the life of a loved one."

I pause before continuing and loosening the grip of my telekinesis, allowing her to have the ability to talk.

"So. What will it be?"
 
Looking around the base, something occurs to me

"....... oh hey, Silas. Why is there a hole in your stomach? Don't you have regen like the rest of us?"
 
The light suddenly changes shape multiple times before reforming back into Jet, and she suddenly looks up and sees that she's being held in Melanie's arms. "Uhh hi there..." I say apprehensively.
 
I look away to see Silas in trouble.

"Oh, don't worry, buddy! I'm here!"

I hold out a hand to him.

"Reverse Time!" I exclaim, healing him.
 
WHAT DOES HE MEAN LIKE THE REST OF US?! This is bullshit! How come I can't get turned into a puddle and walk it off!

steady inhale

"Because No One is a dick. Also, no."
 
Melanie blinked and her eyes widened as a woman formed in her hands. A red blush spread across her cheeks and her face would quickly become as red as ruby. She quickly put Jet down and put her hands over her mouth, trying to hide her embarrassment and hide from the world as a whole. "I-I'm so sorry! I didn't know that was...agh I'm stupid!"
 
I get back up and brush myself off. "Hehe, yeah no worries Melanie, guess I didn't really tell anyone much about me in the first place." I respond. "Sorry I took so long anyway, I'd usually be faster to reform but I figured you guys had those... things covered."
 
"I mean I guess but I just, I, uh, I..." Melanie glanced at Jet for several seconds before burying her face in her hands. Gosh why did she have to look so nice!? She felt like she was going to scream. "It's just gotta be so weird for you. I'm sorry, I'll just go if you want me too. I-I didn't mean to..."
 
My wound bubbles as I let go of my barrier. As my organs start falling, they stop mid air and reverse back into my body before the muscle and skin regrows over them. My injuries treated, I give Josian a hug.

"Thanks friend."

I stare at the girl blankly for a few seconds. "Hmhmhm! Oh everything's perfectly fine girly, I've been alive long enough to know that these things just tend to happen. But..." I say putting my habd on her shoulder, "I do appreciate you taking care of my Gemstone while I was gone." I say to her.
 
Melanie lent out a nervous laugh as her entire body tensed up at the shoulder touch. She rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah well I mean it was no problem really. Your gem just looked really nice, and, uh..."

It was clear she was struggling with her words.
 
I look at Silas who is now perfectly cared for and then looking towards everyone else.

I smile and then teleport to the kitchen.

I look in the pantry and find a bottle of champagne.

I take a tray and glasses for everyone.

I teleport myself back into the room.

"Comrades, I would like to toast this victory ... of course, it was a bit difficult and we lost several lives here ... but it would have been worse if we had failed, congratulations to everyone for defeating No One, a general in less in the ranks of None "I say, pouring the champagne and raising a glass.

"Besides, it's my credit if I killed Thanos, so I expect at least an acknowledgment for the thing"
 
I chuckle again. "Well, I'm glad you helped me out. Anyway, I guess we're gonna celebrate our victory now, you wanna go join the others?" I ask.
 
"Uh...I guess?"Melanie asked with a frown as she glanced at Josian, who she gave a simple thumbs up to. "I mean...I don't think I can drink that champagne stuff. I already couldn't handle it before all these weird changes..."
 
"O-Oh, okay," Melanie said with a little nod as she followed Jet into the kitchen, though not like she had much of a choice. She was practically screaming in the inside oh god she felt so embarrassed she did not just do that with someone who looked so nice aaaaah she wanted to disappear where was her invisibility spray when she needed it. Maybe she could just fly away from this mess or something. All these powers and she couldn't think of one to fix the situation!

Maybe she should just go along with it...
 
As I walk into base, I yaw

"Offer stands, Melanie. Either way... I need rest."

In some strange way, his voice gave way from his facade for a moment. In a sense, unlike anything he's said so far, he said that with the intent of actually helping, instead of getting something from you.

He wandered off to bed and started to rest for awhile.
 
"Thanks but I don't drink. I'm going to go sleep, I'm not tired or anything, I just want to recollect my thoughts."

I grab some bacon and peanut butter from the fridge before going to my room.
 
"Well, for anyone going to sleep be careful ... because I will enter in your dreams" I laugh, and then drink champagne.

I open my eyes and then spit it out, along with a blaze of fire.

"Ah ... right ... now I am weak to the water" I exclaim with annoyed tone.
 
I let go of Melanie and sit down at the table to drink some Vodka from the fridge. I down a good bit of the bottle before saying; "Ahh! That hit the spot! Now if only I could get drunk..."
 
"You...can't?" Melanie asked, slightly intrigued by the statement as she sidled up to Jet. "Uh...why can't you? Like...what exactly are you...?"
 
I stare at her for a few moments, pondering how to respond. "Well..." I say while putting the bottle down, "That depends. Do you want the long version or the short version?" I ask.
 
"Whichever you think is easier to understand," she said, looking over Jet with some now curious eyes. There was a faint afterimage of a blonde, witch-like woman standing behind her. Seemed some spirit was growing curious, and so was Melanie. "I don't mind either way."
 
"Hmm alright then." I say as I turn to her. "I am what you may call, a Gem. My species originates from Homeworld, a planet far, far away from here. We are beings not born, but made. We are first injected into a planet with suitable resources wherein we can suck up said resources to create our bodies. Once we have sucked up enough of the surrounding resources, we burst out of the ground and begin living."

I pause a moment before continuing.
 
"Oh, so you're...a living rock?" Melanie asked with a curious gaze, tilting her head to the side. "So...if that's the case...why were you in that smaller gem?"

seemed she had no time to wait before diving into question.
 
"Hehe, well I guess that's the most interesting part." I respond. "My body, isn't exactly REAL persay. It's made of light. Think of me like a Hologram, but with mass. And to answer your question, yes i am essentially a living rock. Sometimes, if my body is badly damaged. I release my physical form, and retreat into my Gemstone to regenerate." I explain.
 
"And that's what I was, ah...holding." A red tint creeed across her face but she willed it so dosappear. "I mean, isn't that a little weird? Like, is touching the gem a super weird feeling? Did you feel weird when I was holding it? Or, uh...you?"
 
"Oh, uh...that doesn't sound good," Melanie muttered as she ran a hand through her hair. "Still, uh...I've got you covered anytime you gotta...go into your gem or something, you know? Hehe...girls gotta watch each other's backs."

come in just act smooth. Don't be a dweeb for once in your life.
 
"Hmm. Well, I appreciate the offer. Though hopefully this won't hapen too often in the future." I say while kicking my feet up. "Though I guess we-err you guys should get some sleep now."
 
Melanie chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, sleep," she said with a nod before letting out a yawn, stretching her arms out. "Maybe in the morning I won't look so green, too." She laugher once more, but it died down rather quickly. "I'm...going to go find my room then, I guess?"
