"Yeah, and then after that...who knows." She shrugged before waving a goodbye towards Jet and slowly sidling off. "Good night, uh, I guess. See you...whenever I wake up."

See the scene of a Headless Warrior fighting alonside a gun weilding guy wearing a red trench coat against giant floating multi-eyed laser shooting head. Ok, this is the most literal definition of inner turmoil The gun guy then notices that i arrive, so he leaves the beheaded guy fighting the abomination while teleporting next to me. Dante: "Hi there hot stuff." Natalie:"Uhhhh ... what is happening ?" Dante: "Me and no head guy over there were chilling, when that eyeballs jackass showed up and started attacking us, so we fought back." The Beheholder fires a disintegration beam at Dante, who dodges thanks to his sixth sense. The Beheaded then throws a granade at the Beholder, knocking him backwards. Natalie:"Mind if i step in and deal with him ?" Dante shurgs. I then turn towards the other two. Natalie:"You two, stop fighting immidiatly !" The Beholder and the Beheaded, which in the meanwhile were in a physical struggle, freeze and turn their attention to me. Natalie:"Good." Beholder: "How dares a lesser creature speak in such a way to-" Natalie:"Shut." Beholder:"..." The Beheaded starts mocking the Beholder with hand signs, which causes him to get more angry. Natalie: "Anyway, i am Natalie, the one that is acting as your host body, tell me about yourself." I look towards Dante. Natalie:"Talking to you too. " Dante: "Name's Dante, famous demon hunter and a lady killer." He says with arrogance. Beheaded uses hand signs to spell his name. Beholder: "I am the Beholder, the ultimtae form of existance, the being above all else ..." He continues bosting, untill he's stopped by me pointing at him. Natalie: "Now i am going to leave, but i swear if you attack the others again there will be consequences. I then wave bye to Dante and the Beheaded and |

"Hey, she's finally here!" Melanie woke up to a nice, feminine voice. It sounded rather plesant. She was...on the floor, she didn't know how she got there. She sighed and forced herself up to her feet. Where was she...was she dreaming? She looked up towards the source of the voice to see the familiar witch woman that she associated with her magic, a little puppet...frog, thing, and a smaller frog looking thing. She frowned and crossed her arms over her chest. These were the people that were stuck in her head? Oh dear, her mindscape was going to be incredibly awkward. "Nice to finally meet you," the woman said as she took a step forward and offered a hand to shake, which Melanie did quickly. "Call me Princess. I think you sorta know who I am. And these are, uh...Comet and Upchuck?" "Er, that's Kermit, actually," the puppet pointed out. There was suddenly a chair next to the puppet, which he chose to sit in. "It's nice to meet you though, Melanie. Princess here has told me a bit about you. You seem nice." "I don't know much about you," said Upchuck with a frown, staring at Melanie in a way that made her fairly uncomfortable. "But you seem like an okay person. Don't have a good taste in food yet, though." "You're one to talk about good taste. You eat tires and garbage," Melanie said with a shake of her head. "So, I guess that this is how I'm able to talk to all of you?" "Seems like it," Princess said with a trickster grin before patting the girl on the shoulder. "I'm liking what you're doing with my magic, though. All of these frogs are only going to do the world more good, you know." "I guess I get what you mean," she said with a shrug before a seat appeared next to the two woman, chairs that she willed into existence. They both sat down and Melanie let out a sigh. "What's it even like in my head, anyways?" "Pretty empty." The witch let out a cackle. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. It's fine, really. I can still see the outside world when you're awake. I can even influence you. We all can." "And that's why I look some kind of freak?" Melanie raised up a green arm, and the frog was quick to bring up his hand to show he was about to speak. "Honestly, I think Green is your color, miss. You look alright." "Yeah, besides, I'm sure you're going to get back to normal soon. You can't stay like this forever, can you?" "I guess not. It's just...it's all so weird. I have all of your powers and...I don't know why! I don't know why I was picked, out of everyone else in the world." "Because you're special, if you ask me," the frog spoke. "I mean, everyone's special, wouldn't you say? This is just the way that you're special. You're able to call on our, uh...powers? I don't understand it myself, really, so I know how you feel. You're not alone here, Melanie." "Yeah, I mean, you got three people in your head, after all, and you're probably gonna get more." Upchuck offered, though it didn't make Melanie feel any more comfortable. Instead, she just stared down at her feet, not choosing to look up at the three of them. She just wanted to go home. "Damn, that didn't work," the witch muttered. "Kermit, some music?" "You got it," the frog said with a smile and soon after there was...banjo music? Melanie looked up and noticed that the puppet was now strumming a banjo, playing a relaxing little tune. "You just gotta learn to relax, Melanie. You got friends that are here for you, we're here for you. You're going to be fine." The witch grinned and elbowed her gently. "And hey, maybe you can make a new friend or two along the way. Maybe that Jet girl?" Melanie tensed up at that and, even in a dream, she could feel her face heat up and blush spread across her face. She looked back at the ground. "It's not like I wanted...you know, for that stuff to happen." "But you're not upset that it did happen, are you?" Melanie didn't have a response for that, and she fumbled with her words as she tried to think of something to say. She glanced up to see the witch grinning at her, Kermit still playing his banjo and Upchuck sitting down next to Melanie's chair, almost like a dog waiting for a treat. These were her companions for now...she needed to get used to them. "Well, if it ain't that Jet girl, than who is it that you like, huh? You gotta be having some ideas." The witch girl leaned in closer to her. "Is it the fairy girl?" "What? No! I mean, she's cute, she's just...I don't know. Not my type." "Natalie?" "She looks nice, I guess. I know nothing about her." "Yuno?" "No!" "Then it's gotta be Jet! Don't lie to me, you gotta be having thoughts about some of the girls here." "I don't want to talk about it, okay?" "I think you should leave her alone." Upchuck commented, though Melanie didn't bother to look at him. Instead she was glancing between the witch and her own feet, not wanted to look the woman in the eyes. "She's going to wake up if she gets too upset." "Fair enough," the witch muttered as she leaned away from Melanie and sat in a more comfortable position in her seat. "Let's just...get to know each other then, huh? We got a while until you wake up, I think. Let's just talk and listen to some, uh...rustic music." And then the rest of the time was spent speaking with the rest of the spirits inside of her. They all had different stories of their own. The witch told her about different tricks she pulled on mortals and some of the magic spells that she had learned (which actually increased the variety of magic Melanie knew), and she told her about her quarrels with the Harvest Goddess as well. Upchuck told her about some very complex things that she just didn't know. He talked about space faring civilizations and a race of people called the Gourmands. Melanie didn't understand half of it, but she kept listening either way. They had a long talk about this alien's weird physiology and why he just couldn't eat normal food for once. Melanie unfortunately learned that she could spit out whatever she ate as an energy blast. That...made her feel even more disgusted with her new body, but she decided to not dwell on the topic for too long. And Kermit was the nicest. He had long and complex stories about these groups of puppets that he would call a family. Their strange adventures filled with action and generally just warming up Melanie's heart. Kermit was a good storyteller, and he knew how to keep Melanie listening to his odd tales, even during the admittedly boring parts. He was probably the most enjoyable expereince for Melanie while she was asleep. This was how she would spend her night. Melanie knew that the hours would pass, and that she would slowly recharge herself, and that eventually, she'll wake up, but...she didn't mind. She didn't even think about it at the moment. For now, she merely wanted to enjoy the moment, surrounded by people that, though unwillingly, she was slowly starting to make friends with. She could get used to a comfortable position like this. And so, they talked the night away. |
