Save the World: End of Chapter 1 (hopefully)

"Threatened...My family?"

That's....impossible.

"My father would just kill them, in fact, he's done it on many occasions. In the world where I'm from, the punishment for not obeying a Katou is immediate execution."

I turn to Natalie and continue.

"Ask? To be refused by a mere human...when I myself am among the heroes chosen by the council of gods...wouldn't that make the human who refused me an enemy to the gods? That makes them the followers of None, does it not?"
 
[Josian and Natalie are inside the mind of Yuno, if Kisetsu wants to enter just touch Josian's shoulder ... soon I will show Josian's past ... and it will be very sad]

"For first thing. don't get high off your ass, many beings in the universe we just visited could have easilly manhandled any of us in a 1v1 fight,

second, you weren't choosen by a "council of gods", just one desparate old being that needed a quick solution to a problem

and third, just because someone doesn't want to co-operate with you, it doesn't mean they must be an enemy."

"Then I'll make you feel what it's like to lose everything you love," I exclaim, bringing a hand to Yuno's shoulder and looking into her eyes.

Suddenly the girl found herself catapulted into another body, to another place.

It was in a huge field of wheat, the sun high in the sky and the wind that flowed gently among the ears of wheat.

"Dad!" A girl's voice suddenly exclaimed.

Yuno turned his gaze to the little figure running towards her.

He noticed that she was a six-year-old girl, wearing a white dress, with short blonde hair and familiar golden eyes.

When he picked her up, Yuno noticed two things.

The first was that looking into the reflection of the child's eyes he could see Josian's face.

The second one was that he felt a warm sensation at the bottom of his heart, a happiness he had never felt in his life.

"Welcome back, we were waiting for you," said a woman's voice, her tone welcoming.

Looking further forward, Yuno could see a lovely-looking woman.

She was dressed in a long brown dress, blond hair like those of Josian's daughter, gathered in a bun and deep emerald eyes.

The woman who supposedly was Josian's wife gave her a bright smile.

At that moment, Yuno's heart stopped for a moment, that woman's smile gave her an indescribable peace and a sense of love.

At the sudden sight of Yuno he darkened, feeling catapulted into another moment.

He was in the field of wheat again, but this time it was different.

The ears of wheat were completely dried, dead as he felt Josian's body run as fast as he could.

"Rita! Rita! The DeathKnight! They're back!" Josian shouted, reaching his own home.

It was a small wooden house with a brick fireplace.

Immediately arrived he threw open the door.

"Rita! Take our daughter Amalia right away! We have to leave-"

Yuno's heart stopped as a heartbreaking sense of anguish emerged in his heart.

He walked slowly to the kitchen, a body hidden behind the table, legs and a trail of blood could be seen.

The more Josian approached the more the pain in Yuno increased.

He put his hand to his mouth in an attempt to suppress the nausea.

The lifeless body of his wife Rita lay on the floor, the blood of his body formed a scarlet lake.

Feeling a sense of terror he climbed the stairs, towards his daughter's room, Amalia.

For every step I climbed, an unpleasant feeling weighed on his heart.

He went to the door, it was slightly open.

It was not a good sign.

He opened it slowly, a sense of terror that grew more and more.

His inner world collapsed when he saw Amalia's body, lying on the ground, without breathing.

He fell to his knees as he took his daughter's lifeless body in his arms.

Tears steeped in pain and despair descended from his eyes as he held his daughter's body tighter.

At that moment, Yuno felt the most heartbreaking pain he could ever imagine.

He felt every drop of Josian's suffering, overwhelm it like a violent storm.

It was as if hundreds of daggers were piercing her heart without stopping.

It was the most horrible feeling he had ever felt.

[Some notes, only Yuno has experienced everything in first person, Natalie and Kisetsu have seen everything as spectators, also I apologize for the errors, English is not my mother language]

Natalie isn't making any sense. A desperate old being...? Many of those beings could have "Manhandled" us? Oh, that's right...she must not be aware...

Images of what I just saw and experienced replayed in my mind. I struggled to breathe and my heartbeat was completely irregular; I had never felt anything like it before.

What's going on!? I've seen people dead before, and I've even killed once...So why am I feeling like this!?

....I know....it's one of Josian's abilities....This guy....

"You...was that your feelings?"
 
"Yes ... those were my feelings, my love, my joy ... my life ... all I had most precious ... uncorked in less than a day ..." I exclaimed, the voice steeped in bitterness.
 
"You know ... if you think about it ... it was pretty funny" Josian chuckled bitterly.

"And the reason is simple ... Rita and I ... we were DeathKnight, they ... they came for us ... DeathKnight ..." he chuckled slightly.

"The heralds of Death, believed themselves to be chosen because Death had given them powers and a goal, to bring balance between the living and the dead," he explained.

"In the beginning we were a peaceful cult, we treated the sick, fed the hungry and gave a painless death to the dying, but then ... generation after generation ... we became more corrupt ... and we reached the point more low to which the man could ever arrive ... to sacrifice a child to the Death "I say calmly but with a voice full of disgust.

"That's why Rita and I left,because we didn't want to be like them ... soulless murderers"

"But when they killed my wife and my daughter ... I spent my last four years hunting down every DeathKnight in the whole kingdom of Agarath, I didn't care if 99% of them had no role in the kill my family ... they had to pay for what they did "

"In time, the news that a DeathKnight deserter was chasing all the others DeathKnight had spread ... and the Lord DeathKnight, the cult leader took action ... and sent an adequate number of DeathKnight to kill me , and you know how many were they? More than a hundred

"Of course ... I was among the best DeathKnight in circulation, a fire master and maybe this kind of DeathKnight could do it against twenty of them ... maybe thirty ... but I killed more than a hundred," he explained, showing to Yuno a disturbing smile.

"And you know ... maybe what pushed me to do that almost impossible task ... it wasn't my skills, it wasn't my experience or my power ... but total anger, hatred, resentment ... the pain of having to bury my wife, my daughter ... in a pit "

"Trust me ... a power-hungry man could be dangerous ... but a man who loved and lost everything ... is infinitely more dangerous," I exclaim.

At that moment Josian's appearance had changed, his eyes were no longer golden ... but they had a blood-red tinge.

A feeling of extreme terror pervaded Yuno's body.

Ok so, first things first. You found Yuno through precognition. Problem is, you were in the base, which is universes away from where Yuno was.

Second off, you made a portal to Wakanda, but does it have inter-universal range?

Also, what is a Concil of Gods?]

[Imix's profile says it can create portals and has the dimensional travel, so in theory it could.

I know nothing about it for the council of the gods.

The thing of the patron god and the skill donor are names that I invented to explain how Josian has his abilities and who gave them to him.

However I have been advised by jack of my thing of revealing the abilities of others and I promise that I will not do it again, moreover I have modified most of the lines in which I did it.

Little question, can I carry other people with me in dreams?]
 
[Ok, the portal thing is fine, but i still have problems with the precog. But i'll let it go this time.

If you have shown to be able to carry other people into dreams, sure.]
 
[Another thing, the Fast Forward skill reset all cooldowns of my abilities, would it also work on the summoning usable once a day of Imix?]
 
Josian sighed and turned around.

He noticed that Kisetsu was with them, and she was quite upset.

He gave another sigh.

"Natalie, let's get out of here ... I recalled my past enough today ... and this place has already tired me"

"Oh ... and before I leave, I want you to do this, Yuno ..." I exclaim.

"Try to think of a single moment of true happiness that you have ever lived in your life, something that does not concern power or other crap ... think of a single moment when a person told you * I love you * without any obligation or because against his will ... and if you can't find it ... then know this ... your life is sadder than mine ... and I found my family killed "

Eventually I put a hand on Natalie's shoulder and one on Kisetsu's body and get out of Yuno's mind.

Come out, I sigh.

"Jet, free it ... we're done here," I say, then turn to Kisetsu.

I approach her and hug her, stroking her head slowly.

"Quiet little fairy, it was nothing ... only bad memories ... it's all over ... don't worry" I whisper reassuringly.

"Hi again, I wanted to ask you something. i've heard from your conversation with Malanie that you are a gemstone with a body of solid light, so i wonder if you have any weird quirk or ability thanks to your physiology."

I tell you, while tring to use a friendly tone of voice.
 
Josian smiled slightly, then sighed again.

"If you need me I'll be in the Virtual Reality Room to train ... I have a lot of anger to burn," he murmured, turning and walking away.
 
DJ saw whatever happened with Yuno, and sighs.

"Guess i have to do this all by myself."

DJ quickly teleports to all the Vibranium stockage, and teleports it into the bases stockpile. Anyone who tries to attack him meet a terrible fate.

After he gets done, leaving Wakanda in Chaos, he comes back to the base, as he has something to talk with the Chosen.

However, first of all, he needs to check the stockpile, opening the door. There was the Vibranium, the Infinity Stones No One used, some material he stole from the Avengers and... a thief. In the stockpile.

"Who are you!? Identify yourself!"

Melanie was...now waking up. It was sad, but it was a nice conversation all the same. She woke up from her dreams with a start, suddenly being filled with almost uncontrollable energy. She forgot that the man's orb of stamina was still close to her. It must have given her enough energy to force her awake.

Melanie shook her head and slowly got out of bed. She rubbed the back of her head, patted Dio frog on his head (it ribbeted out KONO) and walked towards the door before going out into the hallway. What to do now? ...probably eat. She was starting to feel a lot of pain due to an empty stomach.
 
Just when I'm about to steal the biggest jackpot ever, a man opens the door.

What?! He came back way faster than I expected!

I put on a confused face.

A lot of crazy stuff is going on. Me being here isn't the weirdest thing.

"Is it safe in the city now? I was running and I- I just kept running and then I saw this portal and I thought I could escape and I was- I am too scared to go back." I ask with a scared tone.
 
I am now alone. Deep within my own subconscious, thinking about what Josian said...

Yung goes silent for an extremely long time, not responding to any of my thoughts. I once again think back on what Josian said. A person saying, I love you...Not one of my siblings had ever uttered such a phrase...father hasn't either.

As I try to think back really hard....diving deep into my memory to try to find such a person...I see a vague silhouette....so incredibly vague that I couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman....however; when I thought about a person who produced a similar feeling inside of me to the feelings I felt from Josian.....this silhouette is what poped into my head...
 
[From the point where Silas got healed by Josian]

With the friendo healed and everyone having gone off to do their own thing, I head to the SUCC to spam out combos on my swanky new watch ... but first.

Time to find food first.

Turning to the kitchen's direction, my feet get walking.
 
You see, Melanie still didn't want to eat literal and actual garbage, and so because of this she was moving out towards the big ol' kitchen and was going to get some food there. After seeing that she was, in fact, not alone in the kitchen, she paused.

"Oh, uh...hi."
