RWBY Vol 9 General Discussion Thread: Multiverse Of Therapy

The guidebook specifically says that it can CUT its way through the shield. During the wondercon panel after the JL movie’s first showing, Kerry said he gave the RWBY companion book, which has said cutting statement, to the main writer of the movie. This indicates that he still has faith in what is written in the guidebook as accurate. This is especially important as the Levithan plays a large part in the final battle of the movie, so the writer would definitely have to know what it’s capable of.

I’d also like to look at the V6 quake feat again, because it looks like the distance is actually much farther than first thought. I measured the time form when Team RWBY leaves on the plane to when they arrive in Argus, and it was around 3:17.

What does everyone think of this?

Ok, I think I’m more on board with the two brothers being tier 4 if we can get confirmation on one thing.

You know how the Ever After is confirmed to have two suns? And since it’s confirmed that the two brother’s create different kinds of atmospheres across each acre of The Ever After (more evidence for subjective reality too imo) then it might not be too far of a stretch to say that the two brothers might’ve created the second sun inhabiting the Ever After for the various kinds of landscapes in the world.

Since the two sins would obviously impact the various kinds of atmospheres in the lands wouldn’t it?

I think if we can get some strong conformation of that, or at least some supporting indication, then I think we can safely put the two brothers at 4-A.

Is it not possible to say "current rating, possibly as high as 4-A" or something?
From what I’ve see so far there’s not really a strong basis for tier 4 gods, but it might be more doable with some new information that came out regarding what the gods have done to the Ever After.

With the recent WoG stuff they have arguments for high 3-A now tho

Sure, but as food for thought, the thing I'm thinking at the moment is 'is there compelling evidence for the gods being higher than they are now, even if it isn't 4-A? Is there no other higher tier they could be as it stands?'

By that logic, the gods would have been 3-A the second Ambrosius created the evac route for Atlas to Vacuo because of the existence of the pocket dimensions he creates. What took us this long?

It was posted above, all of the areas of the Everafter were created by the god brothers and all of them have infinite space
It doesn’t say they all have infinite space. They’re varying in sizes. It’s actually some good supporting evidence though so I’m gonna go look over some other things in the volume and tweets for the full assessment on it.

yo honestly this is just beatiful,

this video right there is the culmination of the passion of the fans of the series who put their heart and soul on it

its like the OC world of RWBY now is a universe of its own, just splendid

also regarding the fight, honestly i wanted Simin to win, but seeing how it went the Obsidious guy was clearly more skilled than him, gaining the upper hand on the fight thanks to his skill alone, while Simin dust powers were useful, they weren't just enough to defeat him

who is it by the way Obisdious?
