I think Wankbreaker's actions were more understandable. They had plausible (even if ultimately false) reasons to believe they had permission to post, and other than that, were defending themselves from allegations, yet even then, they eventually backed away from the topic, and so clogged the thread up less.

And I didn't say you needed to bring it to the RVT. Given that you told a staff member to have a look, you could've simply waited for them to respond, instead of going into that big back-and-forth. RVT was just one of four options I listed.

Anyway, for the actual amount of Tdjwo/Nanaya's bans, I'd like input from other staff members. I think Tdjwo has more of a history, especially recently, so maybe 3 days for him, and 1 day for Nanaya?

I lack the time on hand to offer a lengthy post of my thoughts: I think Agnaa's stance is basically sensible. I'll sign off on a warning or light punishment for Tdjwo, hesitantly for Nanaya as well.

If you cannot stand to be disagreed with without accusing everyone of being biased against you, you will never be satisfied in a place that encourages viewpoints from all sides. This is a fact of life that you will necessarily mature into. Now, as you've extended your rage into the RVRT, I will indeed ban you for a week- it will not be possible to request this to be undone, as I now consider it ample punishment for doubling down in a childish rage. When you return, it will still be necessary for you to at least speak politely, whatever your feelings on a given subject.

I'm fine with a short ban for Tdjwo, but I disagree with a ban for Nanaya, a 1 day ban doesn't really do much, a warning feels more suitable for the offense.

In light of this being from two years ago, I do think the current report constitutes a ban but not a particularly long one- my knee-jerk recommendation is that two weeks feels appropriate.

First one sorta sucks as additive evidence, given that it's just everyone insulting everyone and he's just been singled out amongst the chaos. The constant antagonizing shown in the second one is more severe, and worthy of at least reporting.

C'mon man, this isn't legitimate for a report. "Someone found something I said" is run of the mill shit, if this were reportable then we couldn't operate as a wiki lol. Calling this "stalking" is just straight up wrong.

My opinion on the combined report: the spamming of the gif is something additive but very minor, the main meat of the thing is the antagonizing of supporters of verses he doesn't like (ostensibly Bleach). With multiple prior warnings for this same vein of behavior, I think a short ban is appropriate here, as well- to the tune of 2 weeks to 1 month.

Its clear the criteria used by staff to make judgements are as malleable and solid as wet toilet paper on a good day, given the two people making "reports" about me have been let off scot-free for demonstrably (and well-documented) worse behavior than me posting gifs/making jabs/replying to trolls. that's why there's 0 point in even attempting to defend myself or offer any justification, for even if i did evade did ban, the cycle is just gonna repeat.

A respectable addition. I note that a case would need to be made for each person, linking to specific posts and whatnot.

You have a single report on the Tracker, compared to Ryzen's two; for the rest, Hellscream also has one, Adam has none, and Arcker has a staggering 5 (including a ban for similar behavior). If you feel this is the most accurate route to go, do go collect the statements and bring them here, and I will evaluate whether I agree that the severity with which the slights were done constitutes action.

If you do bad things, you will be reported, yeah. That cycle is propelled by your actions, and informed by the actions of your past. If you find this disagreeable, there are certainly websites where none are held accountable, and people can be as vile and petty and cruel to one another as they want: indeed, given the hobby, I believe it to be the status quo. Conversely, if one is ever of the belief that there is greater context or information to be had on a case that may change its outcome, I am content to hear it and adapt accordingly. Still, if it is your wish to instead just forego that and all future chances to change for the better, then so be it.

It should be. This is not like posting a random curt comment on an active thread. The thread was inactive for a week and the user went out of their way to post a useless comment that had no purpose other than to try to antagonize me. I think it's worrying that my silly little sailor moon threads sit so heavily on this user's mind that they have this compulsion to try to constantly interact negatively with me at random times when there was no reason for doing so. They have consistently done this and it has frankly weirded me out.

He personally requested to be permanently banned. If he asks us on wall to change his mind, he can. But it looks like atm that he wants to be permabanned.
