Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

The Light Novel continuity of the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken series recently get Tier 1, but even before changes could be fully applied to the relevant pages, spite threads began to posted.

The Rimuru Tempest (Web Novel) and Xeno Goku matchup, which had been pitted against each other many times in Tier 2, was moved to Light Novel this time, with Rimuru Tempest (Light Novel) also taking Tier 1.

In addition, Hinata (Light Novel) also gain some Tier 1 stuffs (Yes, also that hasn't been applied yet either), and Hinata was again pitted against Reinhard, whom she has against many times.

The first thread was obviously created as a so-called revenge for Xeno Goku defeating Rimuru Tempest (Web Novel). The match is claimed to be for the strongest character list, but Xeno Goku is not even on the list. Also, if you take a look at the comments in the thread, you can see that nothing is really being discussed properly and many people are commenting randomly without even following Tensura threads and I am not even talking about information pollution.

The second was also probably created to add victorie against more Tier 1/2 characters to Reinhard's page. In a previous match between Hinata (2nd key) and Reinhard, Reinhard had won by a majority vote, but this match was later removed from the profile as Hinata's 2nd key had new content. However, the arguments in favour of Reinhard in that match still applied to Hinata's first key. Now the OP created this pairing, probably because thought Hinata would lose.

As a result, people are really annoying and things like this happen even when the relevant changes have not yet been fully applied to the Tensura Light Novel pages. Therefore, in conjunction with the closure of these threads, I propose a versus thread ban for Tensura (Light Novel) characters to help calm people down.
Did the profile just get vandalised midway through the report? It's low 1-C in AP but the tier says High 1-A...what is going on?
 
Yeah, I do. I've been quite busy for a while. I was planning on replying to the thread. Just didn't have the motivation to do it yet. I'll post it later today.

If you're going to make accusations, at least validate them right away, like what translation of mine are you alluding to? I honestly think you're stalling for time at this point.

which it seems like the other party has done. If something is mistranslated, you should be able to provide proof in the very same post, or at least shortly afterwards.
If not, dont make any accusations at all, or wait until you can provide that evidence.

Making claims without being able to prove them on short notice is foolish.

For some reason, I don't think the OP had good intentions when making a matchup between a random 1-A smurf and Rimuru.
 
Why the hell am I being rushed? I said I'll post it. I haven't been active here cuz I've been too busy with school and other personal reasons. And I'm certainly not the first person on this site that has had to postpone comments or threads for reasons. So why am I being crucified for it I'm gonna post it maybe tomorrow. I'm just too busy to settle down now and argue back and forth. Barely rven have time for myself. Don't understand the rush damn.

also, if you're referring what i think you're referring to, not only is it not my translation (it is from beasts lair, and the nasuverse page on the wiki itself admits that it is used as a reliable source), but a mutual friend of mine asked one of the people on the team, and they pretty much said it went through strict vetting. (none of these people are powerscalers, mind you.)

If Tdjwo will not post his evidence in the near future, then I will consider it a legitimate rule violation of harassment for him to continue pestering Wankbreaker with threats of such evidence of being released and defaming him. It is not a matter of being rushed- this is a fairly serious affair, and it cannot be the lasting state of affairs that you'll get to it when you get to it. I will clarify that we only really care about evidence- not attached arguments or presentation. Evidence in a raw form is entirely acceptable for the purposes of this thread. Should this state of affairs continue for an unreasonable amount of time (let's say, about 24 hours from now, marking nearly three days since the original call for evidence was made), Tdjwo is free to contact staff regarding perceived issues to see if they hold water, but should not go around on public threads causing drama about it.

Without preemptively condemning Wankbreaker, it is my utmost concern that staff are kept on the level about their positions- evidence of wrongdoing should be brought forward, and I do not aim to silence it. But it cannot be held up forever.

I was just about to make a report on this.
Regarding this situation: it should be known that for a match to be considered spite, it must be knowledgeable and a painfully obvious win for the favored character of the OP (not necessarily a stomp). This report string involves many users each contributing to matches, each one declared a "spite" match. So I must ask if there is evidence outside of these matches to imply that they are spite matches- the given users consistently pursuing "wins" against Tensura, for example.

Failing that, I think the matchup with Goku is the only one I could reasonably see being a spite match, given the OP's "scorched earth" statement and apparently searching for a barely non-stomp to be considered legitimate. The other two may be stomps or severely one-sided, but have no clear indication of being a spite match. I say this acknowledging that Pink God mentioned suspicion towards a lot of new users FRA training a Tensura thread two years ago- this is not ample evidence of spite.

Man, ngl, it ain't just JoJo. The JoJo ones were some of your better ones. That is not a good thing.

Like man it's been well over half a year, and I say this being generous because it's been more like almost two, almost EVERY match you do, it feels deliberate.

Read the profiles and ask yourself if both dudes have an actual realistic chance to win before making an extreme mismatch. Like don't just throw two semi-popular dudes with drastically different stats, hax and more on without thinking about if one doesn't just roll the other because you put raiden up against mikey from TR or some shit.

While it is not the focus of our forum, versus threads are a focus for many users. Therefore, it is a hefty action to take to ban one from making them, acknowledging he can theoretically still participate in them. Conversely, in Robo's case, there seems to be a continuing trend of 'em, sufficient enough to call a trend. His post seems at least partly true, in that he consistently does output decent matches as well, but given the duration of time that it's gone on, it may be best to issue a relatively short ban on making new versus threads, with the hope that he'll be more careful later.

I want to note that I do not believe we would be within our rights to fully thread or topic ban the man: he should still be allowed to vote on and discuss versus threads, as these are not the topic of issue.

If I am willing to ask two staff members for permissions to make a comment on this topic but you still dont see my comment, then it's pretty obvious that I'm unable to post the comment for a reason; I've been too busy for a while now. Why would I intentionally ignore what I said after going out of my way to ask for permissions? Makes no sense.

Anyways, this is the thread. I will advise staff members to closely monitor the thread and also gather more reliable translators from a neutral side because I don't think Wankbreaker is neutral towards the verse.

Already addressed this earlier,but that quote in particular

1. Not even my translation, as you can easily tell by reverse searching it. ( I usually bundle my translations up with the raw text, something I didn’t have access to at this time)

2. Any perceived “wrong-doing” is unintentional, as my mutual friend asked one of the people on the translation team AGAIN if everything was sufficiently proofread, and they responded by saying it was looked over multiple times by different people, and they didn’t see much error. (as shown in the screenshot)

3. Beasts Lair is usually extremely critical of translations,but no complaints were given in the thread where that translation was hosted. I felt no need to investigate further, especially since this Wiki’s nasuverse supporters already list it as a reliable source on the verse page. ( and Beast Lair members are extremely proflic on this end. Nearly every nasuverse fantranslator is a member of that forum)

I already did my due diligence.

I already did my due diligence.
You are a translation helper. Relying on others especially from outside this wiki means you are either not knowledgeable enough on the language you are translating, or you just don't care and are using just your title as a translator to post incorrect misinformation thinking you will get away with it. The fact that you've repeatedly made this mistake before just showe you aren't adequate at the language and are simply relying on people from outside the site to help you translate.

Claiming it isn't your translation is by no means a good excuse because your position as a translator on this site could decide if a scan is legit or not. And it turns out you aren't. Simple.
 
And the fact that you’ve crucified me repeatedly for "falsely" accusing you as if it were true meanwhile you don't even translate your own scans or proofread them is just outright hilarious. Wonder how the hell you became one. I'm still gonna go through all your other translations as I have a bit more time now to proofread them because as it seems, your opinions can't be trusted as a translator.

The AdmirerofShiki translation is the only translation of this specific scene ( that was again, reviewed and approved by MULTIPLE people uninvolved with the powerscaling scene). The wiki page for nasuverse itself lists the site (beast’s lair) as a reliable source.

Other than that, it’s Cokesakto’s version, which is notoriously known for being bad.
