Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

And out of all the years I've seen of Weekly and all he's done in regards to VS, I can attest to the complete opposite. But what you say is why it's hard to pin him down, and why it's been this difficult to ban him until now.

I've spoken to the dude, both in chat and on voice. He's fine. A literal normal dude. But, ONLY when it's not focusing on VS.

He's been purposefully misleading, outright lying on revisions. Aggressive, a consistent annoyance, stubborn as a rock. And now this.

He's done and out. I know we get accused of staff bias a lot, and a lot of it is bull. But this is one consistent and reliable example. It is fact that we've been too lenient. Well that, and Weekly's been conducting most of this shit off site so it's hard to track it.

I'd honestly say a 1 year ban is completely warranted. That's my two cents.

One year ban, some of the things I've seen him say leading up to this leads me to really believe he and the wiki would be better off without each other, until he can change his attitude for the better. Something I don't think he'd get from continuing to stay here given whats quite literally been said above me here.

I agree.

Not really report-worthy, but it is without a doubt unnecessary. Maybe like, the tiniest of warnings is warranted, idk.

I think that it was just one of his friends here who was upset about that Weekly did this to himself, given that they asked him for his Discord identity.

That may be the case, but I do believe maybe just letting them know not to beat a dead horse would be warranted. There's no real punishment here.

People have been doing more lengthy and severe beratings of Weekly in this thread than just calling him a dummy who ****** up.

Shit happens, people **** up, other people say stupid shit. Things happen, Ant. And people get aggressive. This isn't a punishment. Weekly is already banned, no point in beating a dead horse and commenting on his profile meaninglessly.

Yes, but it isn't warning worthy for a friend of his to express disappointment.

It isn't a warning. It's literally a friendly reminder. Just don't do meaningless stuff, it's not strict, it's not even a warning. People should spend their time more meaningfully, and not comment on a banned guy's profile.

I am not commenting on the matter again, mostly because I could be doing literally anything else. But just a friendly note: Spend your time wisely. Don't talk to someone who can't hear you or respond. You can be doing other stuff, and that stuff is probably more important than meaningless drivel.

Take my advice to heart, and have a good night everyone.

I think the user just needs a warning, but their manner of conversing is just... painful to read, to put it mildly. Like it's impossible to have a constructive conversation/argument with someone who speaks in such a trolling and nearly incomprehensible manner. It's just derailing a general discussions thread somehow.

You can criticize a person if they're directly insulting you, but having a certain tone is in no way a bannable, or even a problematic offense. So no, this isn't a valid complaint imo, you can politely ask them to maybe change it, but it kinda ends there :V

It looks like the guy he was harrassing also started harrassing him as well, so there's that.
The Timmy person can also be a bit aggressive IMO, but wasn't as bad as the Kashin person. So when they argued with each other the debate easily devolved into what you can observe in that thread. Like fighting fire with fire.

Yeah I'm not calling for them to get banned or any kind of punishment. But their manner of speech is associated with how they come across as trolling. I already talked to them about it (mainly to make their posts legible), but the person just laughed at what I said, so there's that.
And like you said, Damage has already warned them about their behavior. So I guess it ends there.

Yes. Agreed. I gave him a warning instruction earlier.

Due to the app side of the wikia and also the lack of internal forums many memebers end up not understanding what the wikia does.

Yes. It is a problem. I have linked to our welcome instruction message for new members via our front page at least, and regularly post it on message walls of people who edit the wiki for the first time.
