(RP) Legion of Man - Meta Thread #1

You will find out through the plot.

I have also updated this thread with relevant links and new players. I am stilling working on Chapter 2, so please be patient.

Yeah probably that sounds about right. I just need to sneak behind someone so I can bite them first.

then that's where the real fun starts

So, does Absoulte hot being dura negation make sense?
i mean..... we could use 3-A igno, but i don't think you could really use that

i think either 2 trillion kelvin or dura neg is a better idea honestly

I think 2 trillion kelvin is indeed a better idea. The 10^30 kelvin version might also be used if it's not outlierish.

I just explained how Igno should not have absolute hot on his profile, as the justification is entirely wrong. Where is this 2 trillion kelvin feat coming from?

different definition of absolute hot, although it may not even matter

Man all ive got are some claws like holy shit 2 trillion degrees.

(Also this my not be important but the hottest recorded thing was 7.7 trillion degrees).

The lower value would be more consistent, that's all

How come something got to 7.7 trillion degrees if 2 trillions is already the Hagedorn Temperature and we need additional energy to make it move through this gluonic state and into one that accepts more thermal energy? >< How much energy did they put into it?

Igno at most has abnormally hot flames, and that's that. There is nothing consistent with him having "absolute hot", just a false justification comparing it to his counterparts "absolute cold" even though the difference between the two is astronomical.

I don't even think it was stated that he had "absolute hot", even if it was we've rejected statements that don't correlate with what has been demonstrated, so this would likely be that case. If he could maintain those temperatures, he'd likely vaporize everything in a massive area, turning the air around him into dense plasma... which we haven't seen.

That being said, considering Igno's flames and maximum heat resistance to be around 1500c doesn't seem too far off. That's comparable to some of the hottest flames we can produce on our planet.

The problem is that it would be the same for any tier 7 fire
No, we don't usually scale fire by how hot it is but by how much destruction it has caused. See SCP-457 for a prime example.

I see. That makes sense.

And indeed, if absolute hot merely meant it stood on the opposite end of absolute cold, then anything over 600~700 kelvins would be enough. Which is pretty much any fire, so that's cannon-fodder level temperature for a "badass flame manipulator".

i'm pretty sure that around 273 celcius is way colder than a flame can possibly be in earths atmosphere

Hey I actually have a question, though I don't think it's too important for me I'll ask for others. What would happen if our servants were to die? Are we just normal people that still have to carry on?

I know it means my character, but still ><

Sad. I wanted to have a special skill even if it was just the garbage tier transmutation it takes for Sophia to dye her hair with it 'u'

I have a question. Considering how all these characters have varying speeds, most faster than what any normal human can perceive, do all of the user just have crazy reactions or are their servants too fast for them to comprehend?

If your servants are moving at max speed, chances are you yourself won't be able to react to them, unless your servant is on the slower end.
