This has been sorta bugging me for a bit but I need to know. When making profiles in general, should their names be the name everyone knows them by, over the actual name they go by? Like how everyone refers to Emperor Palpatine as Palpatine, as opposed to Darth Sidious, or how Master Chief is considered the Master Chief as opposed to John or Sierra-117? Or Son Goku as Goku as opposed to Kakarot?

Yes. Use their primary alias, like how superhero/villain pages are named, unless they have a lot of them

I would say the name they're called by the most. Such as the Goku, he'll be Goku instead of his birth name since that's how everyone but Vegeta calls him.

so if that's the case then shouldn't we change Darth Sidious' name to Emperor Palpatine?

In that case, Palpatine fits that perfectly. He's mostly called by his real name, but sometimes he's called by his Sith title Darth Sidious.

So does that mean we can rename Darth Sidious' name to Sheev Palpatine? Cause a lot of people know him more as Emperor Palpatine or Sheev Palpatine than Darth Sidious.

Darth Sidious is what people call him in the prequels, but the main trilogy seems to just call him Emperor. Although, Palpatine I think is what most people call him in Legends so I'm fine with that.

I am neutral, but you should ask Matthew Schroeder to comment here about it.

Okay. What Matthew accepted is probably fine then.
