But, but... reinhard is the strongest ever no way someone can kill him ┬»\_(Òâä)_/┬». On a serious note though, don't think he will die, only get nerfed.

Tappei tries to nerf reinhard, reinhard gets a blessing that says he can't be nerfed, even by the author ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Regulus Q&A

Q: In Re: Zero, which character is the least suited to be king?

A: Regulus

Q: Was Regulus' Lion's Heart being small a Wizard of Oz reference?

A: No, it's because Regulus is a tiny guy.

Q: Is Corneas a guy or a girl?

A: No one calls him by his surname, so I was frantically wondering who you meant. He's a guy.

Q: Isn't Regulus too strong?

A: He's ridiculously strong.

Q: Even though Regulus has the movements of an amateur how did he win against the sword master Kurgan?

A: It was because he was fighting against a Metal Mario that has no time limit while there were innocent citizens behind him, even Kurgan will eventually be overwhelmed

Q: Regulus=Star of the Leo, also in the myth of the Leo constellation there is a [Nemean Lion], however does that have any relation to Regulus' Authority?

A: There's not much relation with the myth but since I took from the constellations, those with imagination will imagine things

Q: The sand or water dragon's blood or whatever it is that Regulus unleashes: how many meters underground would it penetrate?

A: It will keep flying endlessly until the effect ends.

Q: If Reinhard had thrown Regulus full-force into the ground and buried him, or thrown him full-force towards the sky into space, wouldn't he have won easily?

A: He's invincible, so he'll just come right back.

Q: Mr. Regulus doesn't eat any more, so does he still have to use the bathroom? Even if he's invincible, does his metabolism continue to operate?

A: He ate normally before becoming an archbishop, so the body waste from that period is still in his abdomen.

Q: I thought Regulus was able to hold things normally, but he can pass through them or destroy them; how does he turn that on and off?

A: He simply uses 'Time Stop' on anything he wants to grab, and doesn't stop the time of what he destroys.

Q: Since Subaru was able to crush the Lion's Heart, in a situation where Betelgeuse knew the details of that ability, would he be able to easily defeat Regulus? Or is it simply that his ability is well-suited to it?

A: If you know the details of the ability, it's simply a matter of killing all the brides, so even if you're not Mr. Bete, you can win. How you arrive at that point is the problem.

Q: Regulus said "When my heart is inside my chest, I can't stop it for more than five seconds, or I'll die.", but since he's invincible when his heart is stopped, won't he survive? Also, when Regulus' heart is inside one of his brides' hearts, why is it ok to keep it stopped for a long time? Is it because the bride's heart is working while Regulus' heart is stopped?

A: Regardless of whether his heart is in an invincible state or not, he can't stop it. If he stops it, he'll die. 5 seconds is the limit. When it's hidden inside a bride, it's working, together with the bride's heart. In other words, his heart, at least, is always working.

Q: To kill Regulus without knowing his weakness, we must use a mass murdering weapon or spell. Then, If our mass murdering specialist, Puck(With Emilia dead) fights against Regulus and his brides, who's winning?

A: It will be determined by Regulus's distance with his brides. If it's short, Puck might win. If it's distant, Regulus will win.

Q: There's a philosophy that says a person's essence is in their brain and heart, and that brain death is the end of them, etc., but Regulus moves his heart around and halts his body, including his brain, so does that mean that Mr. Cat thinks that the heart is the basis of life? Simply put, perhaps the reason that Regulus seems incoherent is that he's stopped his own brain.

A: It's not really that deep a thought. Putting it extremely, stopping any of the organs is going to bring about some sort of irregularity in your vital functions. It's simply that, to make Regulus' authority easy to understand, and use a easy-to-convey concept of 'life' that people would recognize, saying that 'It must not be stopped' about the 'heart' is understandable and carries a strong meaning; that's all. It does also seem like memory is what makes a person a person, and it does seem like memory would be in the brain, if we take the conversation that way, it looks like various things would change. For now, I went with prioritizing the concept of the heart.

Q: What would be the impression of Regulus-san as the protagonist of a galge?

A: The heroine that doesn't listen to what he says will be made into mince meat and the heroine that does listen to what he says will be made into his bride as a harem object one by one.

Q: Being together with Regulus, most people would go crazy and be killed in a few minutes; is there anyone that could get along with him?

A: I don't think anyone wants to be friends with scum.

Q: Around the middle of today's update, Regulus used the line "I'm aware myself.", but isn't that sort of like saying "My headache hurts"?

A: It is, but it doesn't really sound odd, does it? "I was thrown from my horse and fell" doesn't really sound odd to me either, but I try to be careful. Try speaking the line aloud as you read it. "I'm aware myself" is the more provoking of the two.

Q: It was revealed in the story that Regulus owns a mansion, so clearly the archbishops have personal lives as well; is there any plans to write about the archbishops or the private lives of the enemy camp in an interlude or something? I'd really like to see that.

A: There isn't, you see. I think stuff like their personal lives probably wouldn't be interesting to write about or to read.

Q: Are Archbishop "Greed"'s wives witch cultists?

A: Some are cultists, some aren't, there's all types.

Q: Since Regulus also had 78 wives in the past it was surprising that he didn't add any new wife over the passage of 100 years. He carefully hand-picks the females that becomes his wife right? Or does he produce wives frequently?

A: He does add them, with the 79th wife lacking their number. He's been adding them over 100 years.

Q: Regulus said that the face makes the woman; is he the sort of person that doesn't care at all about the inside, as long as the face is good? Or does he think "Hmm, nope" and turn his back on them if their personality is horrible?

A: Girls he doesn't get along with get turned into mincemeat, so the brides are all obedient.

Q: Supposing a bride with makeup on and a bride with no makeup appeared before Regulus, would he kill both of them?

A: It depends on if they had makeup on or not when he made them a bride. If they don't look like he thinks they should, he'll pay strict attention to them, and kill them afterwards.

Q: Is Regulus unconcerned about body type as long as the face is good? Also, if he's allowed to change them, I think he'd want to turn them into the sort of doll he likes, but if he doesn't like Capella, does that mean his interests are limited to natural faces?

A: He's only interested in natural beauties. Being unsatisfied with the body you got from your parents is terribly greedy, and he doesn't like that.

Q: How good are Regulus' brides as supporting themselves? It seems like they'd be pretty good at construction and repair.

A: They're quite good. There's a chance they'd be killed if they weren't, after all.

Q: At the time when Regulus attacked Rem and when he was in Emilia's past, where were his brides? Don't they have to stay close to him?

A: In the forest or outside it, anyways they were nearby. The people around were probably thinking 'He's bringing a bride again…'.

Q: If there's no (or very simple) requirements on Regulus' ability to make someone a bride, if he increased their numbers endlessly, I think he'd be even more invincible; is his personality the reason he doesn't do that? Or is the number of brides limited? (hence the missing number?)

A: Regulus simply won't compromise.

Q: At first, there was a possibility that Regulus could die as he didn't have a wife, so I think it would be necessary for him to rapidly gather wives. How did he procure his first wife?

A: He wiped out the family of a childhood friend who (from Regulus' point of view) had belittled him, broke her mind, and made her a bride. He made reasonably gallant efforts to take care of her, but I think he probably didn't win her heart.

Q: Regulus is always bringing his brides with him, but how far can the Lion's Heart and Regulus' own body be separated?

A: Close enough that he can feel love close by, I'd say.

Q: If Regulus was separated far enough from his wives that he couldn't feel love, what would happen to the Lion's Heart? Would it return to Regulus?

A: 'What happens to a couple if they're so distant that they can't feel each other's love?' is a separate matter; I think it would just return to him. Of course, that's in the situation that all of the brides are distanced from him.

Q: I like Regulus and Batenkaitos, but are they friends with each other? Doesn't Regulus get unreasonably angry and they try to kill each other?

A: They do fight, but Regulus' anger doesn't last, so it ends with Batenkaitos running away. If there was nowhere to run to, it wouldn't even be a fight.

Q: Regulus seems to feel that Sirius and Capella are disgusting, but in arc 3 when he arrived where Rem and Crusch were, he and Batenkaitos didn't argue, so was that just a coincidence where their opinions didn't conflict? Was he also unfriendly towards Betelgeuse after he gained the witch gene of sloth? Sorry this ran so long.

A: They simply didn't come into conflict there, but they do both feel the other is disgusting. Life as an Archbishop beginning from zero awareness of friendship. Of course, Betelgeuse is also on bad terms with them.

Q: If Echidna and Regulus met, what would happen? Would Regulus try to make Echidna a bride, or on the other hand, would the two of them engage in an extended war of words?

A: Echidna isn't Regulus' type, so there wouldn't be any particular conflict.

Q: Subaru was really angry with Regulus' "I like her for her face" line, but really, how would he react if someone showed up who wasn't concerned that she's a half-devil, and not concerned about where she was born, but just liked her for her face?

A: He'd react the same was as he did to Regulus, I think; the conditions are the same, aren't they?

Q: Hasn't Regulus thought about trying to make Sirius or Capella into his bride?

A: If he were to try and make them into his bride they would've either became a bride or a piece of meat long ago.

Q: How is the compatibility between Capella and Sirius? Even if Capella hit him with "It's just the face, isn't it?", I don't think Regulus would have any trouble deflecting the attack.

A: Did you mean the compatibility between Capella and Regulus? If Capella said "It's the face, right?", Regulus would reply "It's the face.". However, inside they'd think "Harems are disgusting, just die already." and "Transforming all wobbly like that, you look like a woman made of clay, it's disgusting" about each other.

Q: If Capella were to take on Regulus' favorite type of face, how would Regulus react?

A: "Eww, smushing your face around like that is so gross. I wish she'd die."

Q: Doesn't Regulus want to make Pandora a bride?

A: He probably doesn't like her face, wouldn't you think?

Q: Regulus' words are starting to seem like sound arguments to me; am I abnormal?

A: The archbishops' words are all opinions in the form of 'extreme thinking'. It's the sort of discussion where you might think 'Ultimately, you can't say that no one could possibly think that', so let's just let it pass and say 'You should be more worried about your bad breath.

Too Broken ~

Q: The sand or water dragon's blood or whatever it is that Regulus unleashes: how many meters underground would it penetrate?

A: It will keep flying endlessly until the effect ends.

Physics manipulation here, the blood has no resistance and probably no force stopping it so it goes on forever, regulus is op.

Q: If Reinhard had thrown Regulus full-force into the ground and buried him, or thrown him full-force towards the sky into space, wouldn't he have won easily?

A: He's invincible, so he'll just come right back.

How the hell would he come back from space? I am thinking he can fly, would be obvious with his time being stopped he should be able to stop gravity from working on him.

Q: Mr. Regulus doesn't eat any more, so does he still have to use the bathroom? Even if he's invincible, does his metabolism continue to operate?

A: He ate normally before becoming an archbishop, so the body waste from that period is still in his abdomen.

Ok weird

Q: I thought Regulus was able to hold things normally, but he can pass through them or destroy them; how does he turn that on and off?

A: He simply uses 'Time Stop' on anything he wants to grab, and doesn't stop the time of what he destroys.

Ok so regulus can pass through thing as well, neat, one op dude.

WTF

It's not enough for garfiel to get cucked by roswaal alone , Rem had to step up as well

it's from 4chan

I found it on Tieba, it's a good source of new illustrations and such. I finally figured out how to use the search engine so navigating it should be easier lol.

funny took me while for learning how 4chan work xD

I know many good sites for these stuff but all of them are in japanese or chinese , i can't understand a word

When it comes to 4chan casually lurking is best. It's infested with waifu wars, they decreased lately but stilllll

Carmilla is actually pretty cute, not as plain as tappei described her as, certainty not a voluptuous women as you would expect from the witch of lust though.

Carmilla Character Art

^yeah, this actually better because it's a contradiction and makes it more interesting. Thou at the same time we will see how she acts.

Carmilla is timid, and always speaks in a shy way, pretty much, so no voluptous woman, who is confident in her body as you would expect.

Well lust doesn't necessarily mean confidence in your body in fiction just like in Trinty seven the main girl is completly diffrent, but she is pretty hot so there is a little diffrence. Still I prefer a lot more a character like that, cause at the same time you are wondering where is this "lust" the author is talking about, since sooner or later we are gonna see what makes her the witch of lust, or at least we should.

again artist doesn't stick to what the author write all the time , she doesn't have to be all sexy thier sins describe part of their personality , even if she's shy IIRC part of her back story was about watching other people getting raped ? i am not too sure tho

Watching people get raped? No her backstory is about a dude who wanted her but the villlagers rose up and began toppling countries so she ran away.

Of course she is super cute. Not sure between her and Beatrice, since I love Beatrice's voice and she is really cute.

Still waiting for the sehkmet design and that godly pandora design. Also young roswaal and hector, probably get those before the next volume.

Well the backstory we have is before she got the witch genes and became the witch of lust so maybe she did that afterwards.

Well I have a feeling Pandora will be the most interesting here not only as character, but also her design.

Indeed, we won't get the design for another month at least though, btw i heard the game was pushed back to like march 30.

I mean if the author didn't specifically say Felix is a girl I doubt many people would of realised he is a trap, like honestly I was surprised and I have see so many traps in anime, but I really didn't expect that.

Off thread: any 7-B haxed character I am trying make a match, but I can't find a single one or at least an continent lvl.

He doesn't seem too hax, regulus could probably beat him, and i think i have heard of this show before, pretty sure i dropped it cause of some sort incest going on.

Well, to conclude one his friends was his sister in a first life, but in the end it's shown he will end up with his wife from his second life and the other girl will be nothing more than his sister so that little mistake with incest was handled and solved really good.

And he can just make him fall asleep and Regulus is done for or as well poison him or trap him with illusions.

Oh i see, none of those would work on regulus though due to his time being stopped and his body literally no longer functioning, none of the other bishops authorities which include empathetic manipulation, death manipulation, transmutation, deadly poisonous blood etc would work on him, regulus waves his hand and haimura is dead.

Not really. Haimura has barriers to protect him self and flight to escape.Regulus as well would have to enter that state immediately and not sure if Regulus can attack with his time being stopped if I recall correctly he can. Than of course we would talk about speed as well if it's not equalised Reguluss would do nothing since it's true here you have Unknown, but if you watch the anime you will see he was able to react to a person who moves in his base almost at speed of light since while he was moving everyone around him except for haimura were almost not moving at all and no one has noticed this guy moved from his place. Than he also has enchantments that protect his body and with verses equalised he would probably notice his invisible attacks since he was able to judge without looking at the person that he wouldn't get hit simply by judging his "plana". (Power used in the verse that is) there you also having healing and regenartion so at max I can see the battle end as inconclusive.

Barriers won't do anything to stop regulus attack, it cuts through anything without resistance, flights also useless since regulus can probably fly as well and his attacks will continue after the target endlessly unless regulus stops it.

And regulus can attack with his time stoppped, his time is always stopped, the reason he can attack is cause his wifves have his heart, even without them he can use his ability for 5 seconds, his ability defies physics, his time is stopped but he can still move and everything that's what makes him so op.

Regulus's speed is unknown for now cause we don't know how fast he is cause of no arc 5, btw you should get haimura's speed upgraded if it isn't unknown.
