What exactly Machina's Briah does?

I always trought that he erases the target along their history, but Trex said that his Briah "ends" history.

If it's the second case, does it work like King Hassan's Azrael (Lolnoping the target's continuation for eternity and don't giving a dhit about acsusality)?

Pretty sure Trex was talking about his Yetzirah AKA his Holy relic not his Briah.
