You missed the loophole where "winning a fight" doesn't correlate to "surviving the fight". ProtoGil beating ProtoHerc seems to be more due to a logical paradox, rather than being an innate property. On the other hand, the unnamed NP that guarantees his survival does imply some sort of Fate Manip. Probability Manip is not the best description.
