Powers & Abilities Evaluations Thread

Might be Body Puppetry and Summoning.
I think she meant that they will pile atop on one another due to being weaponless, but it might be literal though.
But that way or another, the question was about disarming. It’s kinda about making them literally lose their weapons as in disappear, as the name of the spell quite literally has “disarm” in it.

Also Summoning is another spell, she just recommends to use the Summoning after Disarming.

On second thought, probably just this:

It’s a spell that is created to specifically disarm up to 12 people. Here is its full description.

I don't know why you didn't post all the scans about the ability in the first place, but I already have an edition of the "the magic book of spells" you used as a source, so it would make better for me to comment after I have a look at the relevant chapter when I get up in the morning.

Makes sense, although it should probably be limited. Thanks!

I thought just saying it is disarming weapons would be good enough but it was a mistake. I sent Summoning scan just to explain that it is a different spell and is not part of disarming.

Alright

Looking at this
“Isn’t what you are talking about the sword of will or something?”
“What?”
“There doesn’t seem to be any reason to think that a sword which doesn’t exist exists.”
‘!!!!’
The moment Yang Muoh heard that, he thought this was absurd.
The Heart Sword, the sword of will, was nothing but an existence, a vision of will. But the guy strongly believed that this sword didn’t exist and denied its presence from just that.
This wasn’t just denial.
‘Does this mean that he has a stronger will to deny my thoughts?’
What ability (or abilities) would the Heart Sword fall under?
Also what ability would the dude "denying" it get?

Didn't realize this place was a thing lol.

Trying to figure out the specifics behind Time Crystals and how they work, looking over a bunch of revisions for the Lupin series and in one of the movies the big plot point is the creation of artificially generated time crystals using synthetic lattices of synthetic diamond in order to power a quantum supercomputer. Time Crystals are stated to be a type of non-equilibrium matter and are structures that repeat in time as opposed to ordinary 3 dimensional crystals, with the artificially generated one being stated to be 'a diamond that nobody can cut'. I've been trying to figure out what in the world this would qualify as in a ability sense to destroy one, or alternatively if that would lead to the item just being unusually powerful due to being able to contain time crystals.

I'm not sure what is meant here, it's very vague. Is there a link to what you're talking about to get the context?

If this wasn't somehow related to what I first quoted it would just be durability.

Here's a in-universe document on it, time crystals are a real world phenomenon which the movie seems to follow the logic for.

It is related due to it being a artificial time crystal which has the properties of generating normal ones, this is what it looks like

So, if I understood this correctly, it is indestructible because it permanently copy and pastes itself through time in space? They are made based on time itself and, therefor, can't be destroyed. If I got anything wrong, let me know.

If what I described is accurate, then this would be invulnerability via Acausality type 3, and destruction of one would be negation of those abilities

It's never directly stated why it's indestructible, hence why I need to figure out the physics, but yes I believe that's the idea is that Time Crystals alternative their state of being throughout time rather than space and due to that they can't be harmed

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind when I get to that revision

Maybe acausality type 3 isn't that accurate, now that I think about it, maybe something like limited Abstracted Existance would be more accurate, as a part of itself exits only in time and not space, which is what is most likely giving it this ability (This reminds me a little of how MissingNo's FC/OC page has limited AE because part of its existance is only information).

If it's not this either, then it could be something like limited duplication, Space-Time manipulation, etc. But I believe that limited AE, or at most Ac 3, would be the most accurate

I think the acausality is the most accurate, Time Crystals still exist in space and can be observed on that level. The document provides a good example of this

"Ordinary three dimensional crystals such as ice and diamonds have patterns that repeat in space, but no such change occurs in these crystals during time"
"However time crystals repeat themselves in time as well, leading the crystal to change from moment to moment"

Basically, a time crystal is constantly changing and moving on a time axis which causes it to be unbreakable. Still can be interacted with on a normal 3 dimensional space but it's actual state of being can't be altered due to it's constant momentum

That's why I'm saying it's limited AE, part of it's being, but not its entirety, exists as as a non-3 dimensional structure that travels through time. But Ac 3 WOULD also be accurate. This just depends on interpretation, and should be brought to a wider audience to reach a consensus.

Where would I go to decide that? Would it just be making another revision thread for it or?

When you make the crt for this (this is for a CRT, right?), show the different possibilities in it for the possible abilities, or even link to this discussion directly
Yeah, it's for a CRT, been making back to back ones for the series as a whole due to the profiles having a noticeable lack of material plus also just lacking obvious additions that are self evident from the profiles themselves. Got one currently up but who knows when that gets staff approval, so all I can do now is wait......... and plot the next series revision plan.

Is this some kind of weird minor plot manip ?
Before she could go on, I asked another question – something else that I was curious about.
‘That witch with the moon face was very strange. She reminded me of an illustration I once saw in a children’s book that I was told to copy …

’‘Of course, she did, priest. I made her that way because it pleased me to do so. I formed her flesh from clay and blood, then breathed life into her before placing her in a story which I brought to life. All life is a narrative if you have the wit to see it, though it can ramble in uncontrolled directions. However, a goddess can shape a story for her own delight. The witch was a creature crafted to my design, but in time she became wilful, wishing to make decisions for herself. So she too suffered a headache and becamecompliant to my will. I always get what I want in the end. Now I have answered enough questions.
And erasing someone's face would be biological manip ?
I took a step closer, then recoiled in horror. He had no eyes, no mouth. There was not even the hint of lips, just a smooth expanse of skin from nose to chin.

Can't seem to find a specific classification for this, what would I list an ability under if it's controlling and manipulating dust?

Tbh it seems like a very advanced form of Earth Manipulation, if the particles of dust are made from the ground or something. If it’s just a composite of a bunch of materials, like house dust, then telekinesis might fit better.

Depends. What type of dust? Or any type of dust?

If it's any, the closer I could be able to find would be sand manipulation
Non-descript type of black dust alongside more sand like dust. It's not any type since he produces it from his own body so I wasn't sure if the black dust would warrant something more generalized especially due to how he uses it.

He produces it from his body and creates both a sand and dust like storm, here's an example of it

What ability causes someone’s head to explode/pop off when looking directly at another person/being.

Like here, their head exploded after they looked directly at the Eyes.
