1-Is possible that with a single attack, even at the end of the fight it is said that they saved the galaxy. If is not galaxy level, at least is star level, because it can destroy the solar system and the galaxy over time.

2-The Power Rangers franchise is a multiverse, therefore, the universe of the game is canon. Although MMPR Mega Battle is a different universe to the tv series. But the power levels of the characters do not change much between different universes, as you can see in Forever Black (MMPR: Annual 2017) or other crossover.

This is just an alternate dimension, however yes since lord zedd was stated to have conquered the entire vica galaxy, Destroying many planets at a time. So it's believeable for him, (Serpentera to be stronger than lord zedd himself. )
