Possible Sans downplay

Chara was never 2B while fighting Sans. She reached that level of power after reaching her "absolute" and fusing with the game files and destroying the game. While fighting Sans, she should be stronger than Undyne (the strongest monster other than Sans on the Genocide route), who is city level in Undying form (maybe), possibly higher. Besides, each individual attack Sans does to the player only does 1 damage, he only removes invincibility frames. I would say that Sans is at least Town level, but not multiversal

He is statistically weaker, and only beats you through hax. In no way is he physically comparable to Undyne

Sans isn't strong at all, he is just a perfect counter to someone like Frisk who is under the control of Chara by the time. It's Genocide Frisk fighting Sans not Chara, Chara just heavily influences and controls Frisk at this point. Town Level hax is ok

About that, saying that Chara was 2-B at that time is a really big assumption to me. Heck, it's even written on his profile.

The only other thing that kind suggests that his hax can go up to 2-B, is that Flowey tells the player to be careful about him, somewhat suggesting that Sans defeated him in battle... Except for the fact that it was never mentioned that it was Omega Flowey that he fought, and even regular Flowey even overpowered both him and every other main boss monster during the Asgore section in the Pacifist Run.

DMB 1 All he did was wrap up everyone in vines while they were off guard. This doesn't mean that he defeated them all. Besides, even while tied up, the monsters were still able to protect Frisk's SOUL from Flowey.

I feel as though, even thought it's not proveable, that Sans didn't really care about dodging it or he wasn't expecting the attack at all. We've seen him dodge Geno Frisk while asleep so it could be either

No, he definitely did. He even said as much. He hadn't absorbed the monster SOULs yet, which was what his trap was, in the first place.
