Possible Okami upgrades

Okay. Thanks.

@Phoenix

Alright, so, the bosses in the ark are just literally the same fights with the same guys and is not implied they received any boost nor that Ammy had any trouble with them (even in-game she basically stomp them by that point). Not even Orochi threatened Ammy at all, if I recall correctly. Of all the bosses in the game, Ninetails is the one that Ammy actually felt scared of facing the first time around.

@Ant

About reaching a conclusion, I believe so. Early game Ammy (and bosses) should be High 4-C scaling from the constellation gods. Ryoshima Coast Ammy should probably include something along the lines of: "Casually made the Whirlpool Galaxy visible again through a wish. Defeated Ninetails, who should be stronger than the rest of the monsters in Ryoshima Coast, who made the starry sky and Whirlpool Galaxy disappear."

So early game characters are 4-C

Late game characters are 3-C

And end game characters are 3-C possibly higher

But what about the mid game characters?

I don't know if more statistics keys are really necessary, if they do not provide any new information.

I meant for the mid-game characters.

Neither was I

Can I just point out that spinning a galaxy isn't actually galaxy level, on its own? Ammy's feat is actually closer to high-end tier 4.

Good point. So should all of the Okami 3-C statistics be changed to 4-A instead, and if so, is anybody willing to handle it?

The demons of Ryoshima Coast made the Whirlpool Galaxy disapear, so wouldn't that warrent 3-C?

Destroying a galaxy is usually 3-C.

Wasn't it already calced here?

Well, in that case the galaxy-spinning feat is only 4-B.

Making a galaxy disappear =/= making it cease to exist, though. Spinning the galaxy itself is quite far from destroying it in one shot.

The issue is that Ammy didn't move the galaxy around the sky at FTL speeds. She spun it. This is an entirely different feat with different requirements.

Spun it at FTL speeds though.

At least

I think.

She'd still be 4-A regardless, though.

The feat is technicall in the high-end 4-B to 4-A range, depending.

Though doesn't Okamiden have a4-A feat in it? That could scale to end game Ammy.

Yami straight up nukes the Zodiac Constellations by firing at them. Okamiden also has a 4-A feat that scales to Ammy's son.

The Galaxy does about a half rotation per-second, which is easily millions-billions of times FTL

Plus, Ninetails (or some monster that is weaker than him/her) made the Whirlpool Galaxy (along with all the other stars in the sky) disappear

From what I remember, this was an accepted OBD calculation that we copied here for safety reasons when the original calcer started to delete all of his calculations en masse.

And that means....?

We usually accept calculations that have previously been evaluated and accepted by the OBD.

I don't think you understand what I mean.

Moving an object around the sky at FTL speeds =/= causing it to spin in place at FTL speeds.

The latter is not treated as galaxy level. The energy required is very, very far from being able to destroy a galaxy with an omnidirectional blast.

Well, we have always had a hard time deciding how to properly evaluate and rate moving galaxies at FTL speeds.

Yes.

It technically should not go above higher-end 4-A, but we usually just class it as Galaxy level to make things easier.

This is a lot less than that feat would be, hence why we shouldn't rate it as Galaxy level. Ammy is high-end Tier 4, regardless.

Well, we preferably have to both figure out appropriate ratings and good justification/explanations for them.
