Pokemon Discussion Thread - Red & Blue arc

It means nothing without further context.

It's a japanese dictionary, use your Google Translate feature.
Anything means nothing without further context

The link you sent only proves my point, its talking about measure of space or spatial dimension. Not "dimension" as in universe/ a pocket dimension

That's not an argument, the term Jigen doesn't prove higher dimensionality, as a "Jigen" can have any amount of cardinal directions, like a parallel dimension. 15 "Jigen" doesn't mean 15D.

It doesn't. The second description only describes a dimension as a space with Width, Height and Length, you're pretending to be oblivious, but that's not going to prove you right.

I know, but I don't think that automatically means its just another dimension and not another spatial dimension
It makes no sense in context + 異次元 is way more used for aiternate dimensions, the very thing Professor Brunett is studying.

Besides, you don't "reside" in a spatial dimension, it's a mere axis.

You don't even have any reasonning explaining how spatial dimensions would be relevant to a study about alt. ones or why Porygon Z, a Pokemon made for travel, would just move one more axis instead of going to other worlds.

You really just lack proof and knowledge regarding the words you use.

You can reside in a higher dimension though, and you can move to more axis and another world at the same time

Scans?

You can reside in a world with more than 3 dimensions, but it makes no sense to live in a direction.
Also it makes no sense that "moving in one more direction" = discovering new places which is Porygon Z purpose.
Just look up any example of that, such as Yu-Gi-Oh DD archetype.

You can reside in a dimension (as in, Universe), which has a 4-dimensional structure. You cannot reside in one of the dimensional axis, which is why context refutes your point entirely.

Dictionary.
You can reside in a higher dimension

That dictionary also talks about spatial dimensions only

You can reside in a world with more directions, and you can do that by discovering new places

What the **** is a Yu-Gi-Oh? Not even relevant here. Thats like saying "your mom" can mean "lawnmower" because they refer to lawnmowers as your mom in some random fictional verse

Except you claim Porygon Z do the opposite.

It is relevant. That's called an example.

just start ignoring him. He'll stop being annoying if we stop giving him attention. The only thing he can do is say random stuff and never do a CRT to try and change something.

Late to the party but whatever

1. Why people just despise a Sprigatito possibly turning into grass type Incineroar when they are totally happy with Litten evolving into one?
2. Matching fire starters to the Chinese zodiac...
Charizard is a "dragon"
Typhlosion is a "rat"
Blaziken is a "chicken"
Infernape is a "monkey"
Emboar is a "boar"
Delphox is a fox which is a relative to a "dog"
Incineroar is a "tiger"
Cinderace is a "hare"
So they can stay the same pattern and prevent from being random until Gen 12, since we have the slots for "ox", "snake", "horse" and "sheep" left.
... Rumors have it that Fuecoco will evolve into a fire type Serperior... Well a crocodile is quite far from a snake as they are similar only in the sense they are reptiles, but god knows it will be just a crocodile snake hybrid.

3. Quaxly looks... bland and underdog.

We aren't happy with Incineroar, worst f**king Pokémon Starter

Nice sh*t

Donald Duck is no such thing!

watch Fuecoco evo become fire\grass type because its a pepper
Not very good type combination, plus, mixing the "Big Three" typing is a no-go for starters. Why would I pick Sprigatito if I can get my Grass stab with Fuecoco?

Grass/Fire
  • Gains a flying weakness
  • Gains a poison weakness
  • Neutralizes Water weakness
  • Neutralizes Ground weakeness
  • Loses Bug resistance
  • Loses Ice resistance
  • Loses Fire resistance
  • Gains Electric Resistance
  • Double Grass resistance (4x)
It loses more than it gains, it still has a lot of weaknesses of Fire typing, such as Rock.

Can someone merge the magikarp and gyarados profiles? Im lazy to do it
Wait they're SEPARATE?
Anyways I'll try to figure it out but I am very bad at profile making. I made two profiles in my life but i still haven't gotten the hang of it. I recommend posting this to the All purpose request thread.

Destiny Bond doesn't look like damage transferal in the anime. If it was, Glalie would have probably get hurt, but instead it just fainted like Misdreavus. Maybe it can go back to being fate manipulation?
Looks like status effect Inducement, or mind manipulation (making one lose consciousness)

Damage Transfer is incorrect, as not the same amount of Damage will result in a knockout in every Pokemon, yet, it works with every Pokemon.

I’m definitely not happy with it, Litten was going to be my Gen 7 pick until Incineroar happened.

Imma need to really read up on the pokemon manga once i've got the time

Yo can i get scans for:

Arceus escaping a master ball

Legendaries allowing trainers to capture them
Nah. Idk about latter but first is a no no. Arceus has never been caught in a pokeball in fully canon media. Either way we catch avatars not the actual arceus.

I will say though, Arceus willingly becomes part of your team in PLA without you catching him.

No, i'm sure there is moment where he gets caught but breaks free immediately, i think it was on conquest or something, it was refered to as "one of his weakest apperances" too

He does in Brilliant Diamond and shining pearl, events where we see him contained in a Pokeball, and you catching Arceus is stated in the dialogue

Pokeballs can catch the true form of Giratina anyways, so we know it can catch abstract entities, just probably not ones on the size of the Original Spirit

Legendaries allowing trainers to capture them
Here's Suicune doing it. This doesn't mean Pokeballs can't catch legendaries though, even a regular Pokeball can catch Giratina

It can catch Giratina's true form though
Origin form. It's true form encompasses all of distortion world which I'm pretty sure is in the Pokemon called gods blog. Origin form is still an avatar, just closer to the true form. Otherwise no other universe in pokemon would ever see Giratina again.

Giratina's origin form is stated to be its true form. We have also seen the true form of Dialga and Palkia and they look similar to how Origin Giratina is portrayed in that image in the website and how he looks in BDSP
