Pokemon Discussion Thread - Red & Blue arc

Develop meowth's good side by making him befriend weed cat and remain friends even as enemies since it will definitely be captured by the main cast.

Bonus if he first flits but he is male before it.

Edit: **** that, i got a better idea, make meowth act like a hero whenever weed cat is around, while everyone either rolls with it or questions it, might even give us more feats for him since he would be motivated
Make Meowth gay.

Considering the new hisui anime got announced i don't think Ash will return, at least not as a main character. He should beat Leon and become the ultimate champion. I also hope he beats and captures mewtwo so he can be 100% op.

I honestly think he doesn't deserve it at this point. He failed so many times, it's clearly a skill issue.

Nah man, he already kicked the shiz out of some serious people. He beat champion Iris and he has shown up to some powerful trainers. He even matched Leon for a few minutes.
Also do note that "charizard refusing to help", "random blaizaken ignoring its weaknesses", "i don't remember what happened in hoenn", "guy with 2 legendaries", "random loss", and "alain beating a massive water shuriken with blast burn" aren't really skill issues, more like 70% complete bs losses.
When Ash finally had no bs stopping him he nuked gladion and kukui and got out a champion.

I actually joked about this on discord have him flirt, weed cat says he is male and he either continues or befriends them and later gets feelings.

Like nearly all of meowth's crushes were assholes as far as i remember, him deciding that woman bad by trauma and go for cute boys would be cool development.

Also, does the anime ever had any gay/lesbian characters, especially pokemon? Meowth is a great choice since he is both combined.

Or turn his rivalry with pikachu into a hate-love relationship, go ******* homestuck or something.

Kinda sad how Alola doesn't quiiite count. But it's the same level of difficulty.

I just dislike Ash, LET ME BIASED

He is subconsciously blocking his gay feelings and convincing himself they are female because he is still unsure of his sexuality.

I ship meowth and wobbufett because yes

UHHHH where?
Each of the creation trio are said in the manga by Cyrus to reside in their own spatial dimensions, so 6D to probably 7D (its also stated in Pokemon GO that Palkia has its own spatial dimension), and Dream radar world is another spatial dimension, Porygon Z japanese dex entry states it goes to another extra spatial dimension, and the Ultra Beasts are described as living in another spatial dimension. These obviously aren't lower dimensional spaces, so it can only be higher dimensions. We just need reality fiction difference for 10-11D Pokemon on this site

Why you do this? Why man? Why you keep saying these things? No... That's just 4D, man... Come on, I am genuinely disappointed

The kanji that they used refers only to spatial/ mathematical dimensions
That's a blatant lie. 超空間 is often used for wormholes and hyperspace travel stuff in japanese.

And surprise surprise, USUL just happen to have something called "Ultra Wormholes", not "Ultra Higher Spatial Dimension".

Saying they "can refer" to dimensions would've been accurate. But here you just are spreading misinformation for no reason. It's not referring to any kind of higher dimensions.

I didn't say that, I was talking about the word "jigen" which only refers to spatial dimension. Hyperspace by definition is also a space with more than 3 dimensions. Stop acting like you know what you're talking about. And can you prove that?

first off yuri speaks japanese, they know damn well what they are talking about, at the very least better than you do.
Second of all, how about you give us the scans of jigen being used instead of asking for proof from a person who knows japanese.

You do realize this word doesn't appear in your screen...? In fact, I don't even see the word dimension being used in it. It's just the introduction of the debate between Hitomi and Mr.skeptical scientist (Alola Edition).

Also, while I got no doubt that I'm far from the best in both japanese and physics, I also have none regarding the fact that I'm not the ignorant one here. You just seem to think that constantly shifting the burden of proof on others = being right.

anyways

doobie

Btw surprisingly enough i was able to semi-predict the new starters.
I had a few fakemon starters that i imagined for a game that would be in a Russia based region (i called it pokemon war and peace lol)
and i had a fire bear, a grass leopard and a water platypus that played hockey.
I was a tiny bit right.

About the dimensions thing, I already explained this is my Pokémon Called Gods blog, and I'm going to say this again here. Outside of a few anime stuff, Palkia is basically never related to "dimensions". The original wording for what Palkia is related to is "Kukan", which just means "Space". However, the word has a lot of meanings and uses, including that of "parallel dimensions/universes", so the English localization adds the more specific "dimensions/spatial dimensions/parallel universes" to a lot of Palkia related stuff, but the original text is just "Kukan". In fact, nowhere in Pokémon Legends Arceus the word "Jigen" is ever used, only "Kukan" (Space), or at best "Jikun" (Space-time), that sometimes is changed to dimension because yes.

I wasn't talking about that scan alone. This is the porygon one and this one talks about it too I think, but I didnt get it translated, this and this apparently refer to spatial dimensions. I don't have the dream radar one on me now, but the UBs are also said to be super dimensional or extra dimensional in the TCG

Why are we getting more of the idea that a word has a single translation or usage, be it in the language or even a single series. Some people are really thinking in a very wrong way about languages, even more about Japanese.

Jigen is a word for spatial dimensions, yet it can still be used simply for what we consider as parallel dimensions, pocket dimensions, could even just be used as a way to say something is in a different level of power, knowledge, and so on.
Palkia does have some relationship with spatial dimensions, because that is what its "Space" mainly means (Again, I went in-depth explaining what Space, Time, World, Universe, and Heart means in their context), yet for the context of this wiki, it doesn't mean much

It's 異次元 in all instances. No higher dimension involved.
It was talking about spatial dimension though

Scans? And in these cases its not talking about different level of power. You think Porygon-Z travels into a different level of power? The UBs reside in a different level of power sounds funny

It isn't talking about that anywhere.

Porygon Z, just like Brozong and coe are all found as data related to the research on alternate dimensions made by Professor Burnet and her team. In the very game where you have a gameplay part focused on you travelling to other dimensions.

It's just "a different dimension" in the way you talk about an alternate dimension.
