Anyways, does the Fate hax and the Plot hax just counter each other?

Well, think of it like this. As an example. Ian Flynn controls the Plot of the stories but the Sega Mandates says no matter how Ian writes the plot, Sonic the Hedgehog always wins.

Going back to the example(which is most relevant for this thread): Ian controls the plot but the Sega Mandates can't kill him. Only fire him if he ever tries to go against the Sega Mandates, which would be to kill Sonic. Then the Sega mandates would hire someone else to control the plot and revive Sonic, like it never happened.
