Phoenix Wright downgrade

The page for purification is called it a form of Soul Manipulation.
And my points still stand. He removed a soul.
Telepathy is a form of mind manipulation according to the page. Don't see everyone getting mind manipulation from it.

And...he removed a soul via purification? Why isn't that an option? And either way the conditions behind the soul manip is so incredibly specific either way, as we don't see him do it any other time except for that.

I agree with the OP

Evidence should be more Optional Equipment rather than Standard.

Also, TMQ's match can remain, as TMQ's stand, at difference of most other ones, is a soul disc inserted into him by Whitesnake. In other words, it's a separate entity from TMQ's soul and Phoenix should be able to still remove it.

I am fine with the proposals.

On the topic of CRT being accepted so the changes can be applied, from Mr. Bambu's inputs which should be concluding evaluations in this CRT, the CRT looks accepted.

I agree with the OP as well.

Btw, the way Buttersamuri organizes Standard & Optional Equipment has been told to him to be wrong in the past and he just keeps doing it wrong as if he didn't care. I can confirm some of his profiles being wrong in that and suspect most of them to have the same problem.

Ideally we should do something about it as more and more profiles with an inaccurate Standard Equipment will still be made otherwise.

Do specify if you agree on just KILLING all Anime abilities or just with the equipment being revised.

I agree with Ed wholeheartedly. And I love Phoenix.

@Ted Ed They should be removed or have an "(Anime only)" next to them like we do in JoJo. In both cases he can use them in vsthreads no more.

Considering we don't have a Composite Goku, no. There will be no Composite as of now. Composites are reserved for verses with many, many continuities and canon, or verses with so little material, they can only exist as a composite.

G&W is only a composite because Smash Bros. retconned that guy into being the protagonist of every G&W game ever.

No one. Since people have not specified if they just want to nuke all of the anime abilities despite how much they fit with wiki rules or if they want to just separatr the equipment items.

There are two very, very different changes being proposed.

People saying that they agree with OP do not know this

Because that is the main issue with the OP and by far, the most controversial element of the entire thread.

Im gonna have to agree here on this one.

The Purification seems more accurate for when Phoenix casted Dahlia out of Mayas body. Also, about Dahlia being evil... she is. She straight up murdered her own sister as well as her ex-boyfriend, which would make them evil deeds.

The "Explosion Manipulation" you speak of isnt really that, especially if it only happened once. Even if it did, it couldve been the sheer force of the Air Manipulation exploding Godots Mask, not necessarily Explosion Manipulation.

All of his Standard Equipment should be changed to Optional, because lets face it. When you start a new trial, Phoenix pretty much throws out the evidence from his previous case when he starts a new one.

1.- Being evil or not is *never* stated to be a factor

2.- That is sheer head canon, never in the anime it is shown that the air manip causes anything else to explode or malfunction, specially in the games since that happens too, where no wind hax even exists.

3.- Indeed, only the magatama and the finger print searching stuff should stay.

But based on the first two questions you asked, i think it is quite clear most do not know the differences betweeen anime and game wright and are already being willing to vote those abilities out.

Psycho, if you are unsure of the events you are talking about, at least ask someone that has played the games before before using them as reasons to nuke a profile from orbit.

"Btw, the way Buttersamuri organizes Standard & Optional Equipment has been told to him to be wrong in the past and he just keeps doing it wrong as if he didn't care. I can confirm some of his profiles being wrong in that and suspect most of them to have the same problem."

Just love how y'all assume I made Phoenixs standard equipment (I didn't BTW) even though he had that WAY before I ever touched his page. That was made standard by the other people who made his page. And I recall even seeing why it was on the thread it was brought up in. Just saying he carried evidence around with him. And do tell me what pages are wrong Equipment wise. And before anyone brings up The judge. I asked and made a CRT on it. Saying Standard wise fine. Personally, I'm fine with it being optional. Nobody had ever cared enough to make a thread talking about it though.

And the explosion manipulation was an explosion. it even made sure to draw the smoke an explosion would provide. And made a smaller explosion like sound. We even see a bit of the red and yellow of the explosion. It happening only once doesn't change anything about it. It isn't like it's treated like a gag moment. These have all been powers Phoenix has just had. Heck. A defendent quite literally blew up in court once cause Phoenix hit her with the truth.

Butters, again we don't use the anime for feats as explained above. Do you have an argument that doesn't involve the anime?

I'm talking about his anime abilties specifically right now. The explosion comes from the anime. And that's what I was defending. Most of his stuff comes from the anime. Since it's just the game, except with more abilities. Even if we separate the pages. The anime has all the right to exist. And I was defending his powers in it. Which are not by any means. Gags.

The soul hacks comes from both

And the equipment wasn't even my doing

I agree with the OP. I will say this short piece however:

y'know y'all, saying that 'I love Phoenix but I agree' does literally nothing to help you except make you look a bit more desperate to prove a point. Not saying that you are, but it means little-no, nothing.

Phoenix Wright does carry around tools he collected as evidence often; it's an occuring theme in the games that he still has them in his bag even though they were from a previous case. I can agree with the Anime parts, it is mainly an adaptation. And I know someone tried to say Manfred can generate Earthquakes which was an obvious gag. Phoenix could still be 9-B scaling from the car crash feat and surviving unharmed by a Tiger. I also agree with the vague abilities that they seem iffy.

The explosion thing is still not right. Phoenix literally shoots a laser at him that causes an explosion. Not the explosion of his mask which is done later. The explosion Phoenix quite literally directly caused. None of his abilties are gags. They are done in an Large amount of his show, have real world effects, and have been shared through several other characters as well. (Miles, Manfred, Franziska, Wendy, some witnesses, Ect).

Manfred causing earthquakes isn't the reason they are at Wall. The whole shaking the building (which is done way to consistently to be considered a gag) hasn't been calced as the earthquake formula doesn't work from what I'm told.

And it honestly isn't Mostly an adaptation. It's the same exact story Made as an anime. The only difference being the ability to shoot wind, light, and explosion. Even the soul thing was done in both game and anime. Aside from those abilities shown on screen. Same story, same cases. Ect.

I agree with separating the equipment.

I completely, utterly disagree with taking away Wright's abilities from the anime for reasons above.

I mean it would be more simple to separate the anime and game profiles. Then, from them make a composite profile. So, it would be like 3 separate profiles.

Why not just keys then if we go this route? He does the exact same things with the acception of 4 different powers. It would be the Same profile with only 4 new abilities. But aside from the powers. Same stories, cases, and characters and such. So should probably just be a different key rather than an entire new page.

The movie was made a page cause its canon was largely different. Skipping several important cases, and changing some bits about it. Like in his first case, he also really kinda sucked and worked in a small court.

Wright has hardly any material that relates to combat, I don't see the problem with making him a composite. The anime is also only slightly different in plot and was supervised by Shu Takumi.

The rest of the OP is fine.

I suppose different keys for the video game anime versions also works. The movie does have noticable differences and thus should have its own profile.
