One Piece Heat resistance Scaling

Lightning heats the air up so much specifically because air is a poor conductor of electricity, more conductive materials won't be heated up anywhere near as much.
Additionally, assuming that artifcially produced long lasting lightning has ad least as high power (energy/ time) as a normal lightning bolt rather then just having as much energy is an assumption that would need to be backed up in each case.

The ligthing has several Tier 7 feats, so yes it should have absurdly more energy

It's not multiplying the heat of the sun's surface. It's just stating a fact that lightning happens to be 5x as hot as the sun's surface.
I know, but it's ever so slightly less that that. 27760 Celsius is the correct temperature for the conversion, I believe.

It will be 0 cause you can't multiply zero by anything
Either way, the whole "5x surface of the Sun" is just to make it easier for the ordinary person to understand and comprehend. The whole 28k is very close to 27760 celsius
 
Because heat multiplication, which people were using earlier to get 28k, doesn't work. That's my one issue.
Again, it's not literal multiplication. It's a generalized number to make it easier to put it into context for the average person, like Emerald said.

We know that it's 27760º C. 28k is just easier and quicker to write in the OP. For the actual profiles, the 27760 figure is likely to be included in the notes section.

Then we agree, I must have misunderstood the position the OP took.
 
That's incorrect. 0 degrees Fahrenheit isn't absolute 0, so multiplying it by 2 would actually be a higher number.
Actually, going outside when it's twice as hot as 0 Fahrenheit would be fairly dangerous, considering it would be 459.6692 Fahrenheit.
