One Piece General Discussion: Elbaph

Endurance is what people say when something’s an endurance feat.

they were both damaged by similar attacks so neither really get durability feats that would put one over the other against Kaido.

and it’s not about stamina because Luffy lost before he could exhaust all of his stamina and Yamato left the fight to Luffy before being exhausted of stamina too
Endurance = taking a lot of hits while not running out of stamina, it has to be dura or stamina.

I completely forgot this mf analyzed every word that was used to describe the time that passed just to claim Luffy fought Kaidou for 40 minutes

Exactly endurance is how many hits you can take. Not how hard the hit has to be to damage you which is what durability is.

both are damaged by Kaido so his attacks have already compromised their durability. Them not dying shows their durability both scale to a lower extent of Kaidos AP.

so because they both already scale these feats are irrelevant for scaling who has higher durability since they both get damaged greatly from the attacks.

It is however an endurance feat because it shows how much damage they can individually take from attacks that compromise their durability.

You wouldn’t drop two phones on the ground, see that both screens were cracked to the same extent and claim one has more durability than the other.

Inversely if you kept dropping them to see which one would stop working first you’d be testing how many damaging drops can they endure.

while they can be relevant to each other they’re different things

Yes.

So... endurance is just how long they body can get hit without breaking?

Before stopping, yes.

If me and you both have a Durability level of 100 and we both take an attack that gives us equally sized holes through our torsos, but you're able to keep going, while I can't, that means you have better Endurance than I do.

Pretty much.

Stamina is how long you can sustain physical/mental effort(ex. running until you get tired)

Endurance is more like how much you can take of something uncomfortable or painful. (Ex. Taking a lot of painful hits and still moving around when those same hits knocked someone out already.)

they coexist a lot of times but not always.

King and Kaido are a good example of Durability vs Endurance.

it’s harder for characters to damage Flames On King than Hybrid Kaido. So King has better Durability in that instance.

But Kaido can take more hits for a far longer period of time(endurance) while continuously exhausting energy on the physical action of attacking(stamina)

Didn't Luffy get knocked out relatively fast while Yamato took like 4-5 attacks from Kaidou without guarding and was only bleeding from her head?

So endurance is like bones, and stamina is muscles?

Tempest whenever he comes back to check on the state of the one piece verse

Ok I really need to sleep 😅, bye

Weak-mid is basically low-mid

So basically above an average lightning strike...

Enel is mid-high possibly high

Zeus max power is mid-mid 🤔 idk... Basically tempest has above average lightning strike 🐵
