One Piece General Discussion: Elbaph

Sanji needs to learn to be like my boy Natsu

Kalifa is the one that made the tea.

Again, if you're gonna slander, make it make sense.
Really?

Huh, must've forgotten that.

My apologies.

But even so, he shouldn't have accepted it.

He should've just kicked her in the neck or something.

Ppl trying to bring up sanjis "weak" moments are always funny to me. They bring up things and go "look at this, this is really low, sanji shouldnt have done this" even though it logically isnt a weak moment. Stuff like sanji telling jimbe to "kill" himself or "abandoning" ph kids are always taken out of context.
Likr bruh sanji isnt talking about permanently ditching them, he means that they should first figure out whats going on and then they can safely retrieve them. And in the jinbe moment sanji is obviously talking about traditional japanese harakiri/seppuku, u cant apply seppuku with our own western definition of suicide since theirs obviously a cultural difference.

If u want to slander sanji then y not bring up the infamous z movie scene(even tho its not canon)

But this convo should end since im assuming its waaay out of topic

Sanji is never going to change. The way he acts around women is a part of his character. Some people are going to like him and others are going to hate him. That is how ideals work. He isn’t going to magically change his worldview instilled in him from a young age by his father figure. Plus, does he really need to? He, like the other Strawhats, has friends that he can rely on to cover his weaknesses… that is literally the whole point. Everyone else in the crew would have no qualms about hitting a woman, so Sanji can retain his chivalry.

Well fandom is corrupt

Not calling a Yamato a man can get you banned from Fandom globally apparently...

Not gonna lie, that's some dictatorship stuff

For what it's worth, I met that user personally while at Fandom's Community Connect. They're not an overbearing, judgemental dictator. The rules there are for people who are deliberately behaving in a transphobic way. Intentionally misgendering someone - when the balance of information shows primarily that they identify as male - is seen as breaking the rules and Fandom would only be handing out bans for repeat offenders and people who can't listen to warnings.

It's fair to have a different opinion; but if you're being warned that expressing that opinion a certain way is breaking the rules of the platform you're on, then it's probably not worth it to continue with it on that specific platform.

Yeah that's really dumb, especially if in the future Yamato decide to drop the Oden's identity.

Anyway, if you want nothing stop you from not using any pronouns and instead simply keep using the name, even if it sound weird.

Fandom is adaptable to new information. If Yamato drops the Oden stuff and shows evidence of identifying as female, then the wiki would be updated accordingly.

What if Oda wrote “she” in an SBS and then they ban One Piece😂😂😂

OT: I wish that Oda would clarify on things like Haki. We have no idea how much it strengthens the body and how much stronger one’s Haki is to another.
Didn't he write "she" in the vivre card and call her "Oni Princess"?
She never even expressed displeasure with being called "she"- If anything she gets mad at Luffy for calling her "bro". I think calling her either is fine, but that's just me. I'm not gonna snap necks for her being identified as either because it just isn't clear yet and both (in and out of the source) seem to pass for now

All I know is
Yamato vs Catarina. Mythical wolf vs Mythical fox
Oh wait. They never clarified if Yamato officially joined. Do you guys think that is the case? Yamato seems pretty happy and I am sure that Sanji, Brook, Nami, and Robin have no objections. And I can definitely see that matchup.

Yamato also chose to bathe in the men's section of the baths, is called "he/him" by anyone that actually knows Yamato and is frequently referred to as Kaido's son. Yamato identifies as male even when not calling themselves Oden, so unless Yamato specifically requests otherwise it would be safer to treat them as being male.

Yeah, the vivre card made the distinction for Kiku (Woman at heart) but not Yamato, that "Oni princess" epithet came in the vivre cards before being revealed in the manga as well.
Lowkey mad that the fandom is ignoring the confirmed trans character in favor of a more important character being forced into that role. In the exact same arc. It's disappointing tbfh

I assumed Yamato wanted to bathe with the men because-- y'know> Luffy hypeman
At least now with more interactions with the crew we'll know, hopefully.

Yamato still refers to themself as “Oden” though, so it makes sense to go to the men’s bath in that instance. I don’t really care about this enough to argue though. Yamato it is.

PLEASE
I've already accepted Yamato as a crewmate- WE NEED IT TO BE CONFIRMED

Where has Kiku been ignored on the wikI? The wiki already uses she/her pronouns for Kiku.

Not the wiki. A good chunk of the fandom is screaming about Yamato for being Oden and babying her/using her all over for pride month, etc- But I've seen very little of Kiku in comparaison when it comes to that.
It just lowkey annoys me because I genuinely like Kiku as a character but she barely gets the acknowledgment. Could be just me seeing it that way though, so idk
