Well, it's tough to say for Kaidou. For Momonosuke at least we have a lot of relatively consistent shots of Luffy & Yamato on his head that can probably be used.

Momo and Kaidou are the same size, so issues with A. stretch to issues with B.
Momo also has a lot of relatively consistent shots right next to the island so that's that

Same with Kaidou who could partially do the same, yet he's shown not too much smaller than his flaming bagua and shown comparable to the island
And Momo's constantly shown comparable to the island and tiny to it too
