I'm gonna say Ace. He came in alone there trying to fight BB's whole crew, with no knowledge of what powers BB had, and even then it was really close. BB wrecked Law's whole crew with a team of like 4 guys and a horse.

A) The Titanic Captains are likely stronger than they were Pre-Timeskip, and B) they have devil fruits now. Also, Ace didn't really have to worry about BB's entourage as aside from BB himself, none of them could hurt Ace so they weren't a problem. While Law's crew can help take down the fodder and take a few hits from the captains, it was up to Law to actually fight against BB and his top dogs basically by himself (for the most part), and even then he was able to wound and weaken BB and his captains.
Yeah Ace might've faired better in his fight than Law, but it's because he only had to worry about a weaker single DF BB, where as Law had to deal with a BB with 2 DF's and his four beefed up Titanic Captains who he can't just ignore since he doesn't have a logia like Ace.

"Kaidou beats Shanks in a fight because he could also onetap Kid and Killer, he just didn't go all out until he fought Hao Infusion Luffy, and even that wasn't 100%, and him oneshotting WCI Luffy means he can onetap Kid and Killer at the same time because WCI Luffy is YC1 level, and Kid and Killer never fought Kaidou, and Big Mom wasn't going all out either, and WCI Katakuri is stronger than Kid actually."
