From what I've heard from previous threads, Seiya does indeed have complete control of his soul due to achieving the 8th Sense, allowing him to revive himself from the dead indefinitely until he is killed in the Underworld.
Other than that, I don't have an opinion on this thread since I don't know enough about Oblivion.
